so the impossible sandwich at starbucks is vegetarian, not vegan. it’s real cheese & egg. but when the barista told you she didn’t have the impossible meat, she literally just gave you the sausage egg and cheese (which isn’t vegetarian or vegan.) she could def get in trouble for that or sued if you were actually following that diet/lifestyle and couldn’t have meat.
As a vegan (but someone who respects all diets and does not preach it on others) let me help everyone out a bit with terms. Kamri is what is called a Pollotarian. That is someone who eats chicken and fish but no red meat. A pescatarian which was not mentioned in this video is someone who eats fish, but no other meat. A vegetarian (which is what all the items were besides the Dily Bar as they had real cheese) is someone who eats animal products (AKA eggs and cheese), but not anything where the animal is actually killed. A vegan like me is someone who eats no animal products at all. Respect to everyone's diet and I have no issue with anything people eat, but just wanted to clarify for both commenters and the girls in the video what each one is as they seemed a tad confused (I get it, because unless you are actually on a plant based diet the different terms are very confusing).
