@@nanya524 it’s actually Tom Brady’s fault because when he was still playing, anytime a guy sacked him it would get called as roughing the passer penalty.
As someone who focuses mainly on the Commanders I’ve got a couple more for you… Last week against the Falcons “holding” call that negated our 3rd down TD when the Falcons defender literally just fell down from his own bad footwork and our player who was blocking him didnt do anything. Forced us to settle for being up 24-17 and we nearly lost for it, when we shouldve been up comfortably 28-17. Refs then botch the call on a “PI” with 2 seconds left, giving the Falcons 13 penalty yards and a chance to kick a game winning field goal. It was a penalty, but the correct call was defensive holding for 5 yards, not PI for 13. The ref even initially signaled for Defensive Holding, and it was then changed to PI so they could give the Falcons more penalty yards. Thankfully Falcons missed the FG anyways. The ENTIRE game against the Bears. Terrible calls took a TD off the board and ruined several redzone drives. Refs somehow missed our DB getting literally tackled while pursuing D’Andre Swift on his 58 yd TD run. Wouldve pushed him out of bounds for a gain of 12, and the penalty shouldve had Bears at 2nd and 17 at their own 32, but instead they get a TD. In the Bears final drive refs call a PI on 4th down over very minimal contact from our DB on an uncatchable ball, which gave them 1st and goal at the 1 when the game should’ve been over then and there. The real miracle about the Hail Mary that happened after is that it didn’t let horrible refs hand the game to a team that had no business leaving with a win. Good thing we won these games, but the refs did their absolute best to rob us in both.
Sam Cosmi was definitely guilty of holding on that one. There was an earlier one where he got called for holding on a good block, but the one that took away a TD was a good call. They didn't show an angle that showed when the contact happened and when the ball was thrown. If the contact was after the ball was thrown, PI was the correct call. I can't tell for sure. Most of the calls in the Commanders-Bears game were legit. Benjamin St. Juste was definitely guilty of PI. His arm was clearly restricting Keenan Allen. And the foul that took away the TD was legit. Granted, the Bears did get away with tackling our DB on the Swift TD. But then Andrew Wylie got away with holding on the Hail Mary. So it all evened out. Andrew Wylie also got away with a false start on the game-winning TD against the Eagles. The only officiating blunder in any of our games that continues to enrage me is that clock stoppage in the Saints game. Any other bad calls against us weren't too egregious and we also benefitted from bad calls and no-calls. That's how that works.
The Bucs vs Falcons game where Kyle Pitts got a touchdown even though he didn’t cross the line. It was review in slow motion and they still gave them the touchdown 💀
I’m a ravens fan and I was at that game where they missed the last couple of penalties and I was surprised they almost never get away with stuff like that
Mahomes' arm was going forward before the ball came out and the Texans defender slammed his forearm into Mahomes' neck. The officials got all of that right. And the Chiefs stopped George Pickens for long enough: good job by the refs blowing that whistle.
@Wiffle990 they have been horrible since the NFL began. And you know what, we should blame the gamblers because I bet you that they are real culprits behind all of this. And the reason why I think that is because I think that the gamblers are bribing the refs to not call certain penalties on some players so that they can win their bets. But it’s also so that they don’t fall into gambling debts as well.
I think the officiating in some games this season has raised legitimate questions. For example, in the Bears-Packers game, the game-winning block felt controversial-Patrick Scales appeared to be contacted, which is typically not allowed under the rules protecting long snappers. It’s especially frustrating because the Bears were penalized for a similar play against the Cardinals earlier in the season. While the NFL ruled the Packers’ block legal, it’s understandable why fans are debating this call. And on the Jayden Daniels Hail Mary against the Commanders, there seemed to be some missed holding calls that added to the drama. Officiating isn’t easy, but consistency is key, and I hope the league takes steps to address these issues moving forward.

Dead internet theory actually looks real with this comment ngl. That ain’t even English
Keep crying
@@ChiefsFlock Ok hop off the bandwagon little bro
@@gamezrule4031 Grow up lil bro 🤣😹 you think the most overrated sports “insult” is gonna make me upset? 💀💀
@ it’s not an insult it’s just true. Keep crying little bro is the most bandwagon thing you can say. I can tell you now in the future when the Chiefs are bad you will switch to the new best team.
