I am interested in making a moon bag. Open top with a small zip pocket inside. I have been looking for a pattern but came up empty. How do I start or go about making a pattern for this bag style?

Another great demo, although I would leave the turning gap at the top of the bag where the handles go as it would certainly be hidden and the inside would be perfect.

Surely it'd be better to hand stitch the slot closed as much as possible and tighter around the wooden handle, than to splodge in hot glue? Stitching down the side seams would also encourage the sides to fold inwards too, and even a slight seam in the centre of the panel to help it fold?
