This is a nice tour of part of the college. I have only been to Wheeling, WV at Oglebay Park Resort, going there since 1970’s. Beautiful hotel (and cabins), acreage, trails, pool, etc. newly renovated with segways. Fun and relaxing.
I wish you would have filmed the names of the streets you were walking on. I couldn't quite place some of the places. It's been over 40 years since I've been there. I was there at WVU from 1969 to 1979
Morgantown is a different town from when I left in 87 Grew up there went to Morgantown High I am glad I have family there so I can still visit Miss a lot of things but not the traffic so congested Will always love Morgantown !!!!!!!!
Jennifer Khan I've been doing my research on WV with the intention of moving to the country area of the towns. I'm noticing many of the streets in the towns & cities are one way and no parking provided in front of the stores. I did notice a few pay to park parking lots on a couple of the streets, but honestly-where do people park? Are the parking lots behind the buildings on the back?
@@chrishellemaitland5775 I lived in Oak Hill WV until I was almost 9 and Dayetteville WV until 2003. I now live in Morgantown WV. No one ways or lack of parking in any of these places. My mom lives in Rainelle WV which is pretty darn country. Parking is never an issue. What specific areas are you looking at?
@@jenniferkhan3686 Thanks for your reply and sharing your knowledge of the area. Traveling to check out the areas during the whole 'pandemic' is very difficult. So I'm doing lots of online research and making use of resources as best as I can. I've been looking at Princeton, Elizabeth, Kanawha and the surrounding southern west county areas
@@chrishellemaitland5775 yw :) well, Morgantown has the city(ish) part but then its not hard to find something nice just outside of town. It also has a good economy when compared to most of WV. Cheat Lake WV is a neighboring town which is quite expensive but beautiful. You can live outside of these places and still be in the boonies. It's a great balance!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. WVU '91
man you even went across the bridge I wanted to see. Thanks so much for doing this! Really appreciate it!
Morgantown, West Virginia Are So Beautiful.. What A Nice Seeing 👀 View.
Thanks for the trip. I was able to get a great overview of the downtown area from Motown. 👍🏼

This Is A Good Walk Video, Wish We Could Of Been Able To Do This Back In The 80s & 90s

For the first time I was also looking around on Google Maps but then I found this video here.

First time seeing so many backpacks, in the same place, at the same time !
Thanks for the video! Looks quiet, was this because of COVID ? or this the norm ?
This was in September 2019 prior to covid on a Monday afternoon.
Amazing!
Walking up University Avenue I remember the old hippie store by fayette street
That Canteen is still there!!!!??? Wow!
Hey 👋 It's your brother Lacy.
Morgantown should pressure clean the sidewalks. It would make a much better appearance of being kept up.
Live here....its nice! :)
