Awesome video. For those looking for a Scott's 1839 Manual of Arms with this modification for Percussion Lock rifles this is perfect. See Vol III episodes 11 and 14 for the rest of the movements, then put them in the Scott's order and you are all set for a Mexican-American War and early Plains Indian War era impression.

It is interesting that Gilham’s manual is load in 10 times whereas the Union is load in 9 times.
Like an intermediate Scott’s. Leftover from flint and older manuals. Interesting evolution, but most likely drill plagiarism.
