In Search of Heritage Cacao

Negros may forever be known as our country’s sugarbowl, but Chris Fadriga’s cacao farm in Bago City could very well be the reason why it would soon be famous for having the best chocolate in the Philippines.

Hope it will be planted all over the Philippines, there are lots of idle and very fertile land in Cavite, Laguna and Batangas provinces inteads of converting it into housing area, please plant it with productive crops. I sugest to plant avocado and cacao tree in these idle land.

I have 3 trees of Criollo Cacao and it's about 75 yrs old already and still alive and produce fruit.so what i did is to plant more of this variety.
