Eastern Kingsnake Project

Naturalist Tony Mills hatches, catalogs and releases Eastern Kingsnakes. All individuals were photographed with high-resolution images of their head and neck patterns before release. These photographs were placed into our database so kingsnakes can be identified if they are recaptured.

You measure the snakes by straightening them against a measuring tape. Of course you do. Why does this delight me so?
