    I would definitelly add “queue” to the list, because there are a lot of attractions that have boring queues and some of them don’t have AC, so that affects on how the attraction is a must do for some people 😅

    • @HoltAlex
      @HoltAlex Год назад +1

      Queue experience and length definitely needs to be a factor for the next list, or at least ride capacity per hour. I'd massively downvote rides like Peter Pan's flight on this, for example.

    First of all I love watching Emma, she is wonderful. I think it would be fun to see a must have list from a child’s point of view, because kids have way different opinions than adults and I know it would be fun for me and my daughter to see the comparison

      For me there are three categories:
      -adult rides
      -kiddie rides
      -family rides
      And selections can cross over

    Haunted Mansion is a perfect 25 for me. Easily my favorite ride at Disney.

    I remember back when Tom Sawyer’s Island had canoes. I ride them once the one time I went to Disney World as a kid. Then when we started going as an adult, the Conor’s were long gone.

    Country bear jamboree and tiki room are so adorable they are always must do’s

  • @swampsagacity4685
    @swampsagacity4685 Год назад +4

    Pirates of the Caribbean is the best ride IMO.
    -Theming & storyline
    -Water Ride
    -No height requirement
    -Easy access
    -Themed queue
    -Dark ride/all weather
    -Completely immersive
    -Air conditioned
    -Entertains all ages
    -Good music
    -IP factor included
    -Great gift shop exit
    -Restrooms at exit
    And Enchanted Tiki Room is a MUST DO because it’s the best place to rest while being entertained & escaping heat & crowds.
    Peter Pan is okay, but the very short ride is never worth the extremely long wait times & small children have a hard time looking down to see the scenes.

    I love the Swiss Family Robinson movie! Didn’t know the “ride” was there though and I’ve been there in childhood. Lol. I do want to see it when we go next week. We’ll see if I can talk my family into all those stairs. 😂

    Haunted Mansion should be 1st (most people would agree) and Pirates a close 2nd. These two are on a level of their own, then the debate for the rest of the ride rankings begins…

    • @swampsagacity4685
      @swampsagacity4685 Год назад +2

      I would have put Haunted Mansion first except it isn’t suitable for all ages due to its scary nature.
      That’s why I put Pirates first.

    • @brianumphreyville2204
      @brianumphreyville2204 Год назад +1

      Big thunder mountain rail road is my number 1. I remember when I did haunted mansion as we were leaving there was a cast member just lurking in a doorway staring at us and it was quite funny and a little creepy.

    • @aerofool66
      @aerofool66 Год назад +1

      @@swampsagacity4685 I would have to disagree on the “scary-ness.” The opening for Pirates can be very scary for little ones, especially with the drop in pitch black.

    • @swampsagacity4685
      @swampsagacity4685 Год назад

      @@aerofool66 I’ll give you that one.
      But at least it’s over with quickly whereas the Haunted Mansion has many scary scenes throughout the entire ride.
      Excluding those two for fear factors, I suppose the best all ages dark ride in Magic Kingdom right now is either Voyage of the Little Mermaid or it’s a small world.
      I exclude Peter Pan because the queue is usually at least an hour long.

    Splash Mountain
    (I guess I’m basic) 😂

    Great vid.! Please hear me out on my one major gripe. I totally get why accessibility is an important criteria to discuss when breaking down rides. However, for a video ranking rides from best to worst this factor heavily skews the ranking system for the majority of viewers. Perhaps future breakdowns could have an accessibility breakdown outside of the main ranking system to keep those with mobility concerns in mind without slanting a rides’s overall experience for viewers who do not have these concerns. Better still, how about a separate video ranking all rides in order for viewers who specifically have mobility issues. For that matter you could do versions for adults versus kids too!

    So there are 32 features "rides" at Disney world, and she breaks it down to a point system. Pirates of the Caribbean was a ride long before the movies. Winnie the Pooh was not even Disney created. So many rides and areas that were in California Disneyland is missing from Disney World. I remember when Space Mountain opened, when Pirates of the Caribbean opened, and Haunted Mansion. The ones not listed here that I remember were the snow capped mountain Expedition Everest roller coaster, you could see from the freeway and the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage ride, then there was the Disneyland Monorail that went around the park even took you to the Disneyland hotel.
    When I went to Disneyland way back when, this was in the 60's and early 70's. There were 5 areas on the maps. Adventureland, Fantasyland, Main Street (entrance/exit) Tomorrowland and Frontierland.

      We went to Blue Bayou not realizing how expensive it was (this was 2008ish). Were absolutely enchanted with the decor. Could only afford to split a monte cristo sandwich, which we had never had before. It was awful. We love remembering that story.

    I really enjoyed this video, but for next time, I would really appreciate if language barriers were counted towards accessibility. If having to leave a mobility aid behind to get into a car loses a point then maybe a non-english speaking person not being able to fully enjoy a ride should too. Love the channel!

    Frontierland Arcade, Main Street Vehicles, Hall of Presidents, and Magic Carpets beat Tom Sawyer's Island, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and Astro Orbiter? No way! Tom's and the Treehouse are incredibly themed and great for kids to get movin' and groovin'. There is rarely much of a wait for these two. They are also unique to Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Astro Orbiter has great views of the park, so it should totally beat out Magic Carpets.

    Does/can your accessibility include passenger size? I know after a few years of working from home I’m a little worried I might not fit on some rides the way I used to!

    • @ashleyjackson7410
      @ashleyjackson7410 Год назад

      Disney is VERY plus size friendly. For reference, I'm a size 20 and fit very comfortably on all the rides in all 4 parks (Tron wasn't open last time I was there and that one I would definitely test the seat first to make sure you're comfortable from pictures of the seats that I've seen). The only ride that I was uncomfortable on was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and that had to do with how the individual lap bar came down across my thighs. I really appreciate how Disney strives for accessibility in this way, especially when some of their rides have been around for decades. But if you have any particular questions I'd be happy to answer them :)

    i"m giving the Jungle Ride a thumbs down. Just for the fact we waited 2 hrs in line. By the time we got to the front of the line, the wait time was 2 1/2 hrs wait time in line. A woman collapsed when she got out of the boat, I believe because she was waiting in line for hours like we were. I felt like my legs were going to collapse when I got out of the boat. My legs were hurting and went numb. It wasn't worth the wait.
    The other rides we went on broke down for at least 2 minutes to 10 minutes. why they broke down I don't know. The best experience was meeting cinderella, even though the wait was a little long. Probably close to 20 minutes to 30 minute wait.
    The next best we had was the Buzz lightyear ride shooting.
