I’m preparing to move to Norman (from another-smaller city in OK) for law school this year so this was a great breakdown of everything the city has. Appreciate the video!
Nice vid as always. Could u do a video abt guthrie, I've had some friends tell me it's a good cheap place to live as a young adult but I know nothing abt it rlly.
Too bad you missed this neighborhood where the newer homes are all like 20s and 30s styles of building except larger. What made it stand out was the entrance. There was a building with a pond at the street with an old fashioned working water wheel and also an old fashioned New England covered bridge. Haven't seen it in 7 years but I believe it is south of Indian hills road a couple of miles east of I 35. It is a gem of an addition.
One thing i noticed about thats different from Edmond is the homes in the core by downtown and OU is most of those homes have little grass but lots of landscaping and flower beds which was neat but also different.
Norman the Great reminds me of Denton Texas, I believe that there are a lot of similarities between these two towns especially considering they are both close to major cities and they're both big college towns.

It's on the list of places to cover. Guthrie is not a bad spot. Close to Edmond, but has its own vibe.
Great video!! 🎉

Yeah, that's a pretty good comparison. OU has a little more juice than Norht Texas 😉, but the two cities are somewhat similar.
