    Prime RVD (2001-2003) should have been WWE champion! The storyline with Stone Cold during the whole invasion mess proved he was a main event caliber player and the ridiculous pop he got when he fougt HHH should have been enough to pull the trigger on a title run then!

      I don't know why everybody thinks AEW is going to save the wrestling business or that they are going to put the WWE out of business. AEW is a new promotion just getting started. Right now they are just like TNA was back in the days getting famous wrestlers from other promotions. As a business whole they are not even close to being a competition with the WWE. I am excited and looking forward to see what AEW can and will do as a promotion but until AEW can produce and make their own Stars such as the WWE has continuously done, nobody should be thinking that AEW is going to put the WWE out of business

    • @dwayners13
      @dwayners13 5 лет назад +4

      @Juice It’s not that I think AEW will put WWE out of business, that’ll never happen, in fact I think it’ll probably make them better out of necessity. When you have no other competition, in terms of appealing to fans or attracting talent, it can actually hurt your business because you don’t have to compete with anyone, the fans & talent have no real alternative. While i won’t go into all the reasons why I think this, my point was that when you hear various wrestlers, from various eras talk about HHH burying people just out of spite, allowing his ego to influence what goes on in the ring, keeping people he doesn’t like down (ie coming out of ‘retirement’ just to beat a younger talent, then going back into ‘retirement), that sort of practice is not going to attract/maintain not only the fans, but the talent the fans want to see. Now that there is a viable alternative for both fans & talent, if he continues to do what he’s done in the past, it’ll cost the WWE both fans & talent.

WWF would send ECW wrestlers which needed working on; whilst WWF were able to pick and choose which talent they wanted from ECW. Bruce Prichard was the guy who liaised with Heyman (Vince M was very 'hands off'). When Russo became head of creative, he became the liaison guy and the first talent he signed up were the Dudleys.
