Scrap Mechanic is an all-new creative multiplayer sandbox game which drops you right into a world where you quite literally engineer your own adventures! Choose from the 100+ building parts you have at your disposal and create anything from crazy transforming vehicles to a house that moves. You’re even able to team up with your friends to create amazing things together: in Scrap Mechanic, you’re the master creator of anything you can imagine!
Here’s the deal: you’re a robot maintenance mechanic en route to your posting on a fully-automated agriculture planet. Your job is to take care of the worker robots as they work the land, sending the food they produce to the metropolitan planets. Thing is, close to touchdown your spacecraft loses control and crashes, but since you’ve got luck on your side (erm…), you survive! You’re stranded though, and at first glance you find that not everything’s quite as it should be. The Farmbots working the fields have gone crazy, and now there’s only one way to stay alive: using your quick thinking, your creativity and your wily knack of turning your surroundings to your advantage.

The only recent production car that uses the gullwing door concept is the new Tesla Model X. (Only the back doors) they were designed for easier access to the third row (the car is a 7 seater) and the allowance for parents getting little kids out of the car while standing upright because the doors make a gap between the roof when they are open. But the thing that stands out is that the doors are double hinged. One on the conventional place for gullwings (between the middle of the roof and the door) and also above the side windows. This allows the doors to open in tight spaces that normal gullwing doors don't allow. Check some vids about the 'Falcon doors' from the model X. Even though they open very slowly they are pretty awesome! The slow opening does give the doors an awesome look. And they only need 30 centimetres of space between 2 cars to open. And the doors open and close electrical. Overall a great design.

You could make the weight more distributed along the car, the back is too heavy. You could move the back thrusters more to the back of the car or the front ones, you can also move the center of mass to the front: add weight to the front, remove from the back, move the seats forward. Also you'd like to put the wheels not touching the body of the car, or you may have problems with rotating the wheels.

The tesla model X is probably the latest production car that used the concept.
It's actually a very interesting design that doesn't get used near enough...those and lambo doors
