I always use the dollar ones I actually caught my PB big mouth on that dollar green buzz bait 10lbs big mouth and a 6lbs mono with a ugly stick gx2 I just don’t see the point of spending big bucks on a bait that’s going to end up getting hung up and loosing it 🤷🏽♂️ cheap lures do the same job 🤷🏽♂️ but to each their own but I really don’t do a lot of bass fishing as much but I still enjoy watching any kind of fishing videos I like catfishing better y’all should make some catfishing videos

That reel that broke looks like mine. I have the Lew's MS1SH. If the reel that broke in this video is similar to mine, there is a small disc in the drag system that can shred to pieces if it becomes too saturated with oil. It acts as a simple bushing so that the reel gear does grind metal-on-metal when you reel. The reeling action is provided simply by a squeezing force applied when you turn the drag crank. According to the diagram in the manual for my reel the part is part number 43 and is called the "Ratchet Washer". It is this, or possibly the teeth stripping on your Pinion Gear(part number 40 for my reel) and your Drive Gear(part number 44)
Spinnerbaits with thin wires are the best. They don’t last as many fish but they definitely catch more fish. The thinner the wire the more vibration you get from the blades.
I have the white and yellow spinnerbaits although it's very dirty since I've had it for 5+ years and I've caught my PB on it and I've most definitely caught most of my bass on it
With dollar spinning baits, use a garbage bad twist tie. Wrap the skirt n twist on skirt ant will keep it in place. Ya can twist ties in black and ehite
Serious question for ya Norm...... On those $1 spinner baits, do you cut off the little plastic tywrap? Or leave it on and trim the skirt? I haven't cut the tywrap off, cuz I think the plastic will all just come apart. Whadaya do?? Thanks in advance for a response

If the skirt of the one dollar spinnerbait falls off then i put a soft plastic in place of the skirt so the one dollar spinnerbaits are the ones i use the most besides the red booyah pond magic
