    Problem is hard to find ripe jackfruit, if we find its extremely expensive in u.s

      No worries😊! You can still cook moong dal in a pot or saucepan, add the rinsed moong dal and cover it with water. Use about 3 cups of water for 3/4 cup of moong dal.
      Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
      Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the dal simmer uncovered.
      Stir occasionally and cook until the moong dal is tender. This typically takes about 20-30 minutes.
      Test the dal by pressing a few grains between your fingers. It should be soft and easily mashed.
      Once the moong dal is cooked, drain any excess water if necessary and use it in your recipe as needed.
