I volunteered last year with my daughter and this year I'm doing it again with my son. It was a good experience and the kids loved it. It was a bit stressful at the end because we were running out of time but everyone had a great time. It teaches kids some basic life skills but I'm not sure how much they'll retain of that since it's a ine time thing, but for sure they'll be talking about the experience for a long time!

Love this student experience, but written checks? I don't even have them anymore. My teenage daughter's job required direct deposit as no checks or paper are given. All online. Perhaps the content needs to be current to what they will experience as they start working.

Funny thing is, we don't need to hear from past volunteers. That's just unnecessary "fluff" to the video to make it "look good", but actually doesn't add any value to the training.

To make the video "look good." But they just make the videos look dated because they were styled in a way that went out of style fast.
