I’m trying lol, I’m honestly just letting it flow and that way I don’t have to worry about the content. It will come just from me doing what I love lol, so I never have to force it or anything. And the more I do it the more comfortable I’m getting, see I’m even using a tripod and working on thumbnails 😃😊
Yes they doing great and I can’t wait to give them this real food lol, you will see the difference when I do the next update video. I think they gonna serve me very well and the excitement hasn’t died down lol don’t seem it will either 😄 very proud worm dad😊
I like the bigger bubble wrap too. I've had wisps get through pinpricks in the bubbles and mature into full-sized worms that can't get out, though! It's going to be a race between that yummy wood chip bedding and your awesome new bedding mixture. ~ Sandra
Yes that large bubble been working great, I’m gonna do another update vid in a week to 10 days to see how they are after getting some of this yummy food I’m putting together for them lol. That video is coming soon too so lookout for it👍🏾
New worm owner: I use banana leaves for a large portion of the surface area (natural slick surface) then bubble wrap (for air) then brown kraft paper (for darkness). They love being under the banana leaf. I do this for the cocoon nursery since I have 25 nanny worms (juveniles) in there but I will probably switch to newspaper so I can tell when I have the first hatchlings. Your first 3 comments are the heavy hitters in WormFarming! (3 of my 6 favorite worm RUclipsrs. Rockin' Worms, Plant Obsessed & Captain Matt are others I watch)
I honestly haven’t touched a banana tree since I left Jamaica lol, but if I had access I probably would be using that. Right now I use the craft paper that come in my amazon and walmart boxes, then the bubble wrap. I’m switching to bubble wrap with the silver backing, then double bubble if I find a good price. Keeping nanny worms in my nursery bins have worked wonders, it’s a really cool trick to get hatching started faster. I’ve hatched a few thousand cocoons just recently and they grown up so fast, it’s impressive the growth from day to day. They have been eating a ton of worm chow😄, such cute little ones it’s so relaxing taking care of them. I’ve been watching all the heavy hitters you’ve mentioned for a while now, they’re the ones that inspired me to start creating content. I talk to a few of them on the regular and I get Captain Matt’s new letter, Plant Obsessed is prob the only that I just watch her videos. I show love to the others whenever I can, just to show my appreciation for what they do. Samantha from Meme’s Worms has a worm group that I would like to invite you to join, squad.Memesworms.com
@@ThehandygeekGA I bought one banana plant which had 2 pups so I have 3 growing in grow bags but I really need to get them in the ground. I'm going to try to freeze the leaves so I have some for the worms in the winter - not sure if it works or if they get mushy. I have been practicing with some invasive worms (Alabama Jumpers) then I moved to a few boxes of Red Wriggler worm bait. Made a few mistakes but starting to get the hang of it. I have ordered a pound of red wrigglers from Meme's worms so just getting pre-composted bedding ready. I am using the small cell bubble wrap but I will switch to the larger cell soon. I will research the options you mentioned. I like the idea of the silver backed as it provides the darkness without an extra layer of material. I am currently using the gray open bins but I like your idea of the 10 gallon totes that stack. Currently at 180 red wrigglers so space is not an issue for now. About 200 cocoons with 3 hatchlings, lol, excited to see more babies! I am already a member of Meme's worm squad and caught one of the recent lives. I am using Garden & Worm Lady's worm chow recipe (adding powdered oak leaves). Moving to Rockin Worms Veggie powder & Greens powder this week so I should be ready. I look forward to exploring your content. Learning a lot in just a few videos so Thanks! 😊
I’m so glad you’re posting more videos and giving updates😂👍🏾
