Everything in warp that will happen has already happened, T'au'va has always been there, and as for the Emperor - don't you think he has bit more responsibilities like holding chaos gods at bay, controlling Astronomican, etc? :D
@@TheLostPrimarch yeah big E is preoccupied with lots of things. well and the fact that he's not a full god yet sooo..... since he has yet to ascend, his power is more limited than a full warp entity.
@jt5765 so what you're telling me is that the Emperor has been edging, om the cusp of busting a metaphorical FAT ASS NUT, for 10k years.....? He truly is the Lord of Man.
interesting. would be cool if this new god never gets corrupted simply cuz its more intriguing that way. all gods being of chaos is too one dimensional and predictable.
Agreed. Although there are entities in the warp that are not evil. It’s just that the evil entities are the strongest. Where the ‘benevolent’ entities simply do not care to interact with mortals or are subjugated by the stronger evil gods. Oddly enough, the entity formed by love is super dangerous and voracious. -sigh- classic chaos.
Billions of Tau, Tau emotions, hopes, dreams and a desire for a lawful good universe - of course they would end up making such a deity. The Tau are evolving - and they do permit people to worship. The Tau themselves are now starting to worship - but in their way a logical, lawful for the greater good diety. It will hunger, but hunger for justice, for law, for order and for the greater good for all. Oh, the greater good does have emotion - love, the desire for helping all and self sacrifice is part of this overall love. I think I like the Tau deity. This may only the first Tau Deity, and others may come into being soon.
@@jt5765, because somehow, the Fish people are so indoctrinated in they're version of Communism that they're ectoplasma is almost non-existent, I think if the Nids could probably do the "Greater Good" stuff better than them because they are a Hivemind and a Hivemind don't make God's, they are they're own God's.
Tau'va created the ethereals to spread the greater good and ensure it's own creation. All this thanks to the fact that time in warp doesn't work the same way it does for us. Once Tau'va was born, it always existed in warp. That's my headcannon
@@Vantud391, And the Same time, the Goddess of Fish people and Communism was been killed by the Same fish people because Communism is not for God's, it is for the faithless.
I firmly believe in the last theory about why the Tau'va has remained safe. Her domain being in a pocket or in the tunnel between the entrance and exit points of the Startide Nexus make alot of sense. The way she is protected could be similar in the way that the webway protects Cegorach from Slaanesh.
I like to think that she would be the one to guide humanity in this evolutionary edge to become a full psychic race and not the emperor, as we see in elemental council, not only the T'au doesn't fall to chaos due to their small souls (chaos cares little for that) but the way their society is structured, order, progress and understanding could be what humanity needs to evolve.
I'm interested in how this will develop the Tau story going forward. Could it lead to a purge of the auxillary races? A Tau empire civil war? Another splintering of the faction with Shadowsun creating her own enclave? Does Farsight return to oust the Ethereals? All very intriguing questions & prospects to look forward to. The Humans might be getting their Primarchs back but I'm more interested in the Tau'va currently.
This Tau God needs to be nurtured if they have a chance to survive, but it needs to be done through faith and prayer, but the Ethereal can’t allow for this God to live because it will destroy the philosophy of the Greater Good.
I've always had a thought that could the wondering fragment of the God Emperors soul have come across the Tau in it's warp travels & he then had a hand in the fledgling tau race .
I'm still not certain that Tau'va has officially been born yet... Slaanesh existed before her birth due to time being effectively meaningless in the warp, so I'm viewing these manifestations as somewhat more akin to a gestating baby's kick, you can feel it, either as the mother, or through the mother's belly, you know it's there and active, but it isn't ready to introduce itself to the universe in any meaningful way until the time is right.
do you think t'au'va is sentient enough that it could align with the eldar to help bring them back? and if so, if the eldar gods come back, how will that affect the warp?
Well couldn’t the eldar god in nurgles garden possibly bring back her kin. It would possibly be resurgent for the eldar if the avatar of ynnead could defeat a daemonette or keeper of secrets would bring a eldar back from slaanesh
Ethereals tried to stop the creation of gods and ended up creating a God in the process. But I wonder if the emperor being in the warp has a hand in helping create new gods of order
think about what Magnus said in TTS. "by going against religion as hard as you did, you were inadvertently creating a new chaos god. a god of non-belief."
Good video, but open question: if enough people with enough psionic power are able to create a god, can those who follow tyranids be able to do it too?
Its interesting how the devs thought up this being, and I wonder if your philosophy of it is the same as the one they have. I'm not really a fan persay, just interested in how various authors write deities. The notion of worshippers creating a deity isn't new, it appears in the Judeo-Christian bible of all places, and in many modern medias, including multiple places in Runescape.
Interesting but wasn't he not cool with the xenos? I don't like using xenophobic because that implies an irrational fear. There is plenty to fear about the xenos
This is a bad bit of lore. The eldar gods were more powerful then the fish god and very carefully structured yet immediately eaten by slaneesh. This was silly writing by gw

Old warhammer lore used to have gods of law. Tau'va, the Emperor of Mankind, and whatever Ynnead is, are setup to confront chaos.

This entity reminds me a lot of the Daedric Prince of Order, Jyggalag from Elder Scrolls.
Actually, it does

Chaos coming in from the flank...typical.
the Lifeforms that created T'au'va in the Warp are anyone except Tau themselves in Tau empire
True, but I had to start out the video in an intriguing way
thats not 100% true, most tau have dim souls, apparently the etherals souls burn bright. So they could be partially responsible too.
Definitely like the deity more than the tau themselves, good thing the blue blighters have such small souls or it would be as arrogant as they are
That is a fact xD

I dont think so, there is no other aspect to be worshipped, at least so far.

This could kick off tau psychic abilities or there souls to start to shine .
