That's crazy, that's how my 2024 Etorque 5.7 sounds. Haven't done anything to the exhaust yet

Let me know if you do, just bought one and trying to see if I want to change out muffler or just delete both resonators

Is this an e-torque ram? Im so nervous about having drone in the cab. Just want it to be slightly louder on start and when I get on it. Any advice would be great! I know in a previous comment you said 0 drone whatsoever which is reassuring

Is that a cold start? Also do you have a "before" sound video?

You can tell it's a cold start by the settle down throughout the video

This is a stock muffler with resonator delete correct?

Does this still have the front resonator? I heard some rams came with front resonators and some didn’t.

The new ones don’t. My 2023 didn’t come with one.

I have a 2017 still only has about 40,000 mi there is no front resonators just rear too big ass converters one big ass water tank of a muffler and two rear resonators If you want to get as close to scat pack or hook cat sound as you possibly can delete the muffler and resonators and tune it to not ever use that four cylinder mode I don't care what anybody says that shit's terrible on these engines so many garages that do rebuild on 5.7 hemis have shards of metal in them and every one of them is from 5.7 liter hemis with four cylinder Eco mode vehicles

    Excessive droning while driving?

    • @ConnorsCorner1
      @ConnorsCorner1  Год назад +4

0 drone, absolutely none. You can BARELY hear the exhaust inside but literally 0 drone. My previous setup (FlowFX muffler and resonator delete) had a ton of drone. I literally bought a stock exhaust to put back on, but wanted a TINY bit more sound, so the resonator delete with the stock muffler is the perfect choice.

@@ConnorsCorner1 thanks for the reply. I have a 2023 5.7 etorque. Sounds great on cold starts but want to add a bit more sound with nothing crazy.

@@ConnorsCorner1 i saw your other video, wasnt sure if that was before or after this one. The flowfx sounded good on my phone lol. But if your paying that much for a laramie, cant imagine you would want alot of drone. These rams are peacefully quiet

I just bought a 2023 Ram 5.7 Hemi eTorque and want a little bit of sound in the exhaust system. Certainly it has zero sound with the stock muffler. The shop I took it to told me they could replace my muffler to achieve that tough sound I’m seeking. So, are you saying that all I need to do is delete the resonater? I know nothing about exhaust systems. I just want my truck to sound like the 5.7 V8 Hemi eTorque it is.

  • @tomgronowicz8150

Is there any way, you can look at that stock muffler and find the part number on it? Mine is a 2022 5.7 Hemi Non eTourqe. It seems much quieter.
    My Muffler is a C-9396.
    Thank you!

Yeah I literally just did a resonator delete on my 2023 yesterday. I’m quite disappointed lol, you get almost no v8 rumble at all in the cab. It just makes the exhaust sound louder tbh, and even cold starts are underwhelming.

One thing to make note of is a front resonator. Some 5.7’s have a single bullet style resonator right after the Y pipe - some do not. My ‘20 Rebel non-Etorque does have one. Not sure how much of an effect it has.

I know you can get a straight thru mid-pipe section from some exhaust mfg’s. I did a ton of research and I think I found OEM midpipes on Rock Auto for a bit cheaper.
