The Tachanka was first used by Ukrainian anarchists, and only later adopted by the Red Army. Around the Black Sea there are many farms, so there were many horse-drawn carts available, which could be easily turned into Tachankas.
It is common for soldiers to compare their vehicles and weapons to women. I think "musume" and "hana" are appropriate translations for "Наша гордость и краса": • The Tachanka is the pride of the Communist and Anarchist armies. Few people would have expected a civilian cart with a Maxim gun to terrify the mighty Tsarist army. People were proud of the Tachanka, like they would be proud of their daughter for going to a university. • The Tachanka is drawn by horses, which are beautiful and temperamental like a woman. It is also fast, so the average soldier cannot catch it. So no, the song is not talking about any red-light districts. :)

The way she sings "Ta~chan~ka" is so cuteee
"Horses and Wagons with Anime Pillows"
rare Soviet song that actually make me happy, and it is even more beautiful in Japanese!
Pretty cool to hear it in Japanese
Yoooo finally posting bout east banger again 🔥🔥🔥🔥

hey, just out of curiosity, will you post some ukrainian songs?
