Thank you for this video I’ve been trying to get back into shape when I was in BCT I gotten stronger and I like to do that again now that I’ve been out of the army for 11 years now
Currently about to conduct PRT in 15 minutes but haven’t done PRT since 2014. Wish me luck as I try to remember everything from 9 years ago in 15 minutes lol
This brought back memories from basic training Fort Jackson South Carolina 10 years ago lol.... Met some real brothers and sisters for life there. Delta 239 Death Dealers lol
They just want to see full body motion and make sure you are not hiding any injuries, someone is always on side or behind watching who is unable to do the motions. That’s all it is. And to get your heart rate up before the real PT

It's actually a good program for keeping healthy joints and stuff. If you do it without all the formalities it can definitely make you feel better if your lifestyle is pretty sedentary. Full on yoga coupled with massage therapy is probably more what soldiers need.
You should work on the inflection and fluctuation of your cadences. Other than that, great job! Although I’ve never done less than 20 reps each. Just me though. Good job
Sorry to ruin your parade but you can't simply use an updated video you stole to another outdated video from close to 11yrs ago. Not only is it unethical but also disgraceful. It's a shame you are unable to make your own content instead stealing it.
thanks for compiling a variety of resources, including older videos to help me get the gist of PRT. mission accomplished!

Same. I got out in 2012.
My plan currently
Should be able to find it online somewhere.
@@Justin-dy2ib I believe there’s an app for it
@@Go0ofygoober yeah there is. I just have the ACFT and the APFT app.
Just joined the army from the Marine Corp have to learn this for WOCS. None of these really seem to stretch and seem kind of jerky.
shouldve stayed marines

they didnt even recover from the pushup, and they started off with the right leg for the rear lunge

I AM THE LEADER
Prt does nothing to make people stronger or better.
It's really just to stretch you out a bit and get your heart rate going before PT. 5 reps of anything isn't going to build any strength
It’s not supposed to improve anything, so you’re correct.
@@jmeyers88lol, i just came from my first drill and I was like, this is much easier than I expected
