[OFFTOP] GHOST IN A BOTTLE 😉 (ChemiQ's Laboratory ⏣)

As a test, I am posting a video that is very different from the topic of the channel, presenting a very simple and very effective chemical experiment. In short: I will show here the process of combustion of alcohol vapors in various laboratory vessels. As reagents, I use an ethanol and isopropanol (the vapors burn a bit slower). I will also show how the addition of boric acid works (the flame becomes green due to triethyl borate). The source material was recorded at 50 frames/s, so some shots could be slowed down 2 - 4 times. In the background there is also an interesting idea for Christmas decoration of each laboratory ;-).

Dobre 👍. Kiedyś puszczaliśmy takie we flaszce po spirytusie, muszę spróbować z tymi butelkami PET. PS. Spirit (duch) i ten dźwięk "buuuu" przy spalaniu, pewnie stąd się wzięła nazwa spirytus? 🤣

Nie pamiętam gdzie, ale czytałem że doszło do implozji szklanego dymiona podczas wykonywania tego eksperymentu....dlatego robię to tylko w PET-ach

Poza 5-litrowym PET-em i tą jedną buteleczką po winie na próbę z końca filmu, stosuję wyłącznie naczynia laboratoryjne ze szkła przystosowanego do wyższych temperatur (termisil). ;-)

@@ChemiQ81 Tu nie chodzi o temperaturę tylko że to może po prostu rozerwać butelkę...jak wspomniałem czytałem o takim wypadku...polecam plastikową butelkę po wodzie 25 litrów...bomba😁
