- The New York Times is back with another new daily word game, Connections! This is heavily inspired by "The Wall" from the BBC quiz show Only Connect. You must sort the sixteen given words into thematically appropriate groups of four--and you only have a few opportunities for error! I don't know if I'll be solving this every day but I'm giving it a shot for now at least. We'll see how it goes. Let me know how you like it!

Blue first, no mistakes.
I grew up hearing people using the terms semis and tractor trailers interchangeably so that's how I made that connection.
Of course, when it came to discog I thought to look for styles of music, completely forgetting that a disco could be a place so had to default with that connection.
It's interesting seeing how for some people a connection can be completely obvious while they can't seem to work out another one, and then someone else will be almost the complete opposite.
Bally is also a pinball table manufacturer, but obviously that wasn't gonna be it 😂
Chris, don’t hesitate to Shuffle a few times to get your “locked in” guess in a certain place, but anyway no one cares about getting the top score
I had never seen the word "discog" before, and "dis" means apart/separate so it seemed like it could fit.
I got hung up for a bit trying to group promo-trailer-discog (for discography) but discog didn’t quite fit and there wasn’t a fourth.
I did the discog mistake. I thought it meant to disconnect from cogs.
Impressive that you got purple first. I have posted about this before, but the first 30 seconds or so are very blurry, and then pop into focus.
It's because sometimes youtube videos start playing at a lower resolution until it eventually adjusts. If it's blurry you can pause the video and click on the gear (settings) and choose a higher resolution
