I actually believe both guns are pretty good but it's solely based on the map and your agent's role. If you're a duelist and you're required to rush in, I think phantom is better at close combat but if you're more of the "behind the team" type of player, vandal is good for you because of it's long range damage. Just my opinion tho
Also, characters that have smokes in most situations a phantom is better because of the silencer so no bullet tracer

you should make a series with a team being able to use only ghost, spectre and phantom vs sheriff, stinger and vandal. And they have to buy either of those weapons every round

You should do an iron gun tournament where 5 teams can only use their one category of gun- classic/stinger/phantom, ghost/spectre/phantom, shorty/Bucky/judge, sheriff/Marshall/op, frenzy/ares/Odin. I think that would be very fun to see how it goes in iron.
I think if we want to focus on the “VANDAL VS PHANTOM” they should have inf creds plus same agents or just inf creds
There is a trick where heavy and light sheilds dont matter when they have full vandel so the phantoms had a advantage that they did not know.
Heav and light shields do matter it’s just that buying light shields is a 4 shot kill just like heavy shields and a 1 tap to the head just like heavy shields for the vandal but this can get risky since you can end up taking a little bit of damage which gets rid of the 4 shot kill

I switch depending on which side I’m playing (Attacker/Defender). I find I use Phantom more on Defense as a KJ main and Vandal for Attack. And sometimes… I just use my Phantom because it has the Spectrum skin on it 😅
I use vandal defending and phantom attacking. Or just vandal for the reaver, phantom for playing around smokes.
Those phantom users need to be sneaky and try to fight close combat since they need that one tap potential of the phantom

Iron is so weird; crazier strats than vct, but absolutely subliminal aim and game sense (except nealberry, who is kinda crazy and could easily place higher on a new account than their old one)
Also if you do spectre vs ares or bulldog vs guardian or ghost vs frenzy in a future vid, can you give infinite creds so they can buy main guns every round and don’t have to save (force spectres)

Video idea. Have a tournament where it’s all irons and there’s a team for each specific weapon. So phantom vs classic ghost vs frenzy etc.

I think what was lacking was a knowledge of where the enemy team was playing but more so what they were doing every single round. Vandal team kept being aggressive as hell and flanking. Take out the flanks and you're a map up already. On Ascent the attackers were the defenders and the defenders were trying to take the site called "Attackers' spawn"

As an iron player i can confirm save rounds dont exist the amount of times i have to tell my team not to buy vandal second round is insane. I once saw a instalock jett my op second round.

@@callmesnowboo iron 2, 3 and bronze 1 are all the same. I’m iron 2 and my unrated games have more strategy and better players than comp games. I don’t really like comp much so I don’t bother playing it. I don’t really want a higher rank . I just like being better. Some of my friends and cousins are plat and diamond and I see the difference when I play in normal matches when and I play with them . They are much better. I just try to aim and get better, don’t really care about ranks or wins/losses. Most people till bronze 3 are kinda the same. At bronze 3, slightly better but most people just crouch spray and die to stupid kj setups too.

I started playing val around act 2, ep 4. back then I used to only play unrated for fun and to learn about the characters. Back then, I used to be terrible. I have a vivid memory of a person yelling at me to uninstall the game once for being the worst your main of all time. After a bit of recovery and some more grinding, I finally build up the courage to play comp for the first time. After playing some comps, I got ranked iron 3. Ever since then, I had the goal to reach gold 1, to get out of elo hell and to prove to myself that I could be successful of at least 1 thing in life. For the past year and a half on multiple different accounts, I grinded and grinded all the way to silver 1, occasionally getting in gold lobbies (though I'm in b2 bc of the rank reset rn). Looking at current irons almost make me laugh, though at the same time, its a reminder, that I once was like them.
27:43 I'd actually disagree, the phantom spray is more forgiving so you're more likely to rely on the spray and pray than on a vandal. Especially at iron.

I think phantom is better for iron players cuz they always spray and phantom is easier to control. They also have bad aim so they don't need this long range one tap damage because the don't click head shots.

While I'll almost always buy vandal the phantom is just objectively better
Faster body shot and leg shot kill
Less spread
Faster fire rate
The only downside is not a one shot headshot BUT if you can hit the first one you will 99.99999% of the time hit the second one too (unless u just suck)
Plus if you are in a duel, while the millisecond before the second shot fires could make the difference on paper, in reality when you hit the first shot on the head, it causes the enemy players view to massively bounce up and so making them miss whatever they were just about to shoot by miles
Surprisingly not a lot of people know this because with the phantom, you can aim neck level and have the second shot bounce up and hit them anyway
