How do you like that trailer . I'm shopping for one was wondering would you think it would fit 2 camera bags ? They are about the size of a regular Backpack?
My question will seem a bit odd, but I wonder if you are worried about bears? I live in the UK where we don't have bears in the wild, but if I were out in the wild in the USA I think I'd be concerned about being attacked by bears :) Aside from my fear of bears I enjoyed your video and the Nomad trailer looks great. I have a Burley Travoy for shopping but I think for touring I'd get a Nomad.
The thought of bears is not far from my mind..especially when it was just me and the kids! I've lived here in AK for 15 years and have not had any problems with them. I just use common sense and make a lot of noise so as not to scare them. I would rather bears and moose than ticks and smaller bugs; I want to see what is coming to get me. Also, I carry a gun whenever I head out in the woods. It might get me, but it wont be happy! On a side note, I do like the Nomad and we have used it couple of times. It is holding up well! I do recommend the trailer; I have not had any issues with it. As far as the over sized tires. I don't have any for the trailer-I have noticed some scuff marks from big rocks that I could not avoid, but that just adds character to the trailer and has not really damaged it

Seriously. Hundreds of miles with my Burley, (an even older one), not a hiccup. Never camped with it, but lots of high performance street rides.

It came off my bike-operator error and easily fixed. The trailer has continued to work well
It can be hard to find well made kids bikes that can handle bikepacking. What mountain bike do you recommend for a child?
did you get any water pooling inside the trailer?
I did not have any issues with water inside my trailer and it was raining pretty good when we left the parking lot
