I love your videos, but with this one I'd love it if you made another one that went a little deeper into British culture and stereotypes. Some examples would be talking about our politeness, our class system, Our multicultural society, the good sides of British food (with someone who likes it haha) or even how school/growing up in the UK differs from Korea. I face a lot of stereotypes here in Korea on a daily basis and I think talking about things like Rain, Tea, Harry potter and Fish n Chips just reinforces things that Korean people already know rather than teaching something new! Anyhoo it's still a good video :) Hope you keep it up. I love showing them to my students.

For example the Baked potato is something a lot of English people eat but its a Russian tradition. A few things you could take a look at are "Oatcakes", "Toad in the Hole", "Yorkshire Pudding", "Cornish Pasty" is another famous one. It's originally food made for Miners Liverpool has a dish called " Pan of Scouse" or "Pan a Scouse" Which is a nice Lamb stew. "Herring in Oats" it has another name but i forgot that's a good Scottish one

Unless you live in specific areas with a strong food culture or smaller villages with artisan businesses. A lot of bakers, butchers, fish mongers and independent Pub houses with home grown beers were all bought out by large corporations. After war rationing, government incentives pushed for cheap, uniform, large scale production. So much was lost. Carvery or Roast dinners are standard meals and second to none in my opinion. Beef, chicken, turkey, lamb or game (when in season) slow roasted with veg, potatoes and gravy made from the drippings with stock and cider/ale is hard to do wrong. Same method applies with the tougher cuts stewed slowly in the stock & cider/ale with an optional crust. There are huge varieties of pies and pasties, plenty of desert puddings without forgetting the original muffin intended for afternoon tea. Remember the Sandwich was an English creation too. There's also a great cheese industry in Britain worth mentioning. Overall the native food and drink is incredible. I genuinely believe a well prepared course of all those dishes rival any other.

How can they bag down your own cultures food just because they're now in Korea. Everyone eats world foods but to say that English food is horrible is sort of disrespectful. after waching this video, I've got to think about why we used the line "shut up, Malfoy" as a common and popular fad words;)) In my case, I usually used it when there's someone really annoying and wanna get rid of that person like, get'em out of my sight, I just said that words and ignored them. I felt it's mean but still humorous a bit at the same time....,obviously the lines from the famous movie that everyone knows. 😎 and guess what, it works everytime ^^+
British food is good, just buy good quality ingredients - stews, bangers and mash, roasts, pies. And there is a lot of unique to the UK fusion food (so many cultures mixing). we definitely have great puddings/desserts.
