The next time you're in Springfield, I cannot recommend going to Lincoln's house heavily enough. I've been to his tomb, but the house is where he lived. You are moving through the same space he did. You are walking up the same stairs he did. You are truly following in his footsteps, and, if you're like me, you feel a genuine connection to the man. And yes, Mr. Lincoln is my favorite president.
Rise of the LincolnBagger. I know Lincoln wasn't an angel but I've always been the most interested in him, especially when I found out he also had depression and anxiety like me.
Nice, sir! Abraham Lincoln is my favorite president! My youngest daughter Isabella, since May 7th,2014, has made over 8,569 songs about this president! HOORAY FOR LINCOLN!
I’ve been there and it’s outstanding. True story. My 3rd Great Grandmother, Mary Wright, was a year a part in age from Abraham. His father and hers,my 4th Great Grandfather, were on a council together. It is documented. Their cabins were close to each other in southern Indiana. I visited there several years ago and the guide showed me where my ancestors property was next to the Lincoln’s. It’s also in the National Park Service. It’s worth checking into your family history. You never know what you will find! Thanks for this great video.
Hi. My father did a DNA test. Wasn't expecting to find much. Ancestry story scout said he is 3rd cousin 4x removed from Lincoln, was a shock to all of us! Did u know that Lincoln's & Daniel Boone where related!! They all came fromExeter/Oley Berks County, PA.
1:41 The elephant have used to be grey... results is around the eyes. 11:33 Abrahams parents snoring in the 🛏-bed and the museum itself looked awsome and liked the details how Abraham was of young age and so on and watching there entire Lincoln family is buried R.I. P💐✝
I wish the museum had included something about Elizabeth Keckley. She was Mrs. Lincoln's dressmaker. Mrs. Keckley was a former slave who had bought her freedom. That has nothing to do with you Jacob!! Your video is great!!!
I lived in for over 20 years and never once got to go see this museum. Thank you for sharing it with us. I hope to go back and see it someday. Safe travels to you my friend. God Bless You.
Would love to see this library and gift shop . From all that I know of about Lincoln ; he changed America forever for the better and should be idolized of course..would love to wear a Lincoln t-shirt on his upcoming birthday
Had a chance to visit that place in December. I love how they split the museum between Lincoln’s pre-presidential life, followed by his life in the White House.
I am here in FROZEN MICHIGAN ! we have below zero temps is how it feels. So very cold and we still have snow and ice on ground . Stay warm and safe travels
I live in Springfield! Would have definitely met up with you for a tour! Go to Petersburg (roughly 20 minutes away) to see New salem where lincoln grew up!Safe travels!
Lincoln looked dapper with your hat on Jacob but you look more awesomer with it on Lincoln has his own style LOL. hope you have a blessed safe weekend too. Love and prayers.
How very interesting to see the figure of Sojourner Truth. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI my hometown. I have visited her grave many times~ I have always wanted to visit the Abraham Lincoln Library & Museum. Thanks for sharing this Jacob
What a journey of Abraham Lincoln and his Life and Times All inclusive Your knowledge of this Family and the Era are very informative and interesting I sincerely appreciate all your efforts Jacob It's our good fortune 💜 that you stayed in Springfield Hopefully you are rested Safe Travels
Wonderful museum 🤩 I love when You visit museums ❣️ I laughed out loud when You made the Lincoln nutcracker say the Gettysburg address 😂🙌 Thanks Jacob 🙏💝🌟😻
Absolutely love the information on President Lincoln. Jacob, if you should come back to Greenfield Village contains the Logan County Courthouse. Henry Ford had moved to Dearborn. It was the Courthouse where Lincoln practiced.
Love your channel and adventures, been a fan for a while now. Enjoyed seeing this video a lot, as I live in springfield Ill. Almost went to the Lincoln presidential museum yesterday, Now I wish I had. Safe travels. Looking forward to the trans world videos.
Next time you are in town stop at Motor Heads on Toronto Road. The food is good and they have a great museum. Also Petersburgs New Salem where Lincoln lived is a great place to visit.
If you’ve ever heard of Oakland, IL. There is a historic building called the Rutherford House where Lincoln was hired to represent an “owner”. Of course there is a lot of history behind it and I think they also have an old wagon wheel that belonged to Lincoln in the town square.
That's a pretty awesome museum!!! I thought the part with his naysayers was a little ghostly and creepy, lol, but other than that, it was super cool!! Loved that you went to his tomb as well.
Jacob! I lived in Springfield for 40 years! Museum is awesome. Next time need to go to his home, the Old State Capitol. Need to go behind the hill where tomb is as there is a small room back there where he rested for a while By the way, I never had a cozy dog. You also need to try the horseshoe. Also, we met at Universal couple months ago when you were in Orlando! It was a great encounter.
I still remember the first time I went to Springfield Illinois and I actually got a chance to meet an Abe Lincoln impersonator and oddly enough this Lincoln impersonator looked 100% like Abraham Lincoln. And still to this day I'm still trying to figure out who the Abraham Lincoln impersonator's real name was.
I live in Lexington, ky. Actually where the home of Mary Todd Lincoln lived at one point. Her house actually sits right next to rupp arena. My family use to own a downtown building near cheap side since early 1900s . The upstairs was actually a ballroom for Mary Todd Lincoln & down stairs was a confectionery that my fam still has the bourbon ball recipe that was found in it's basement that had original stone foundation. The place now is next to a bar called rosebuds . The bar silks connects to it's right, that was the building. Of course it's been changed up after my fam sold it but u can see the original in old Lexington historical picture books. I know u went to the horse park here but there is way more history here than people realize!!! Home the senator & at one point secretary of state, Henry Clay too that lost running for president.
my great uncles family invented the “corn dog” aKa cozy dog. when i was a little 1 i played soccer sponsored by cozy dog. am glad folks r back visiting, the lockdown nearly killed this city~ didn’t even have the Illinois state fair 🥺

Amen I agree
Amen I agree
Hes was our hottest president
Agree 100%
I went there last summer, haven’t been there since middle school. They did a lot of work recreating that whole two blocks
When they were designing the museum, they worked with Disney imagineers. It’s part of the reason some of those exhibits are so striking and moving.
Rise of the LincolnBagger. I know Lincoln wasn't an angel but I've always been the most interested in him, especially when I found out he also had depression and anxiety like me.
6:40 We have that same statue in a park in Lakewood California.
I think this is my favorite presidential library, he was and still is the best president we ever had
Easily the best presidential library and museum ever. So incredibly well done. I love it.
Nice, sir! Abraham Lincoln is my favorite president! My youngest daughter Isabella, since May 7th,2014, has made over 8,569 songs about this president! HOORAY FOR LINCOLN!
I love the accuracy of the life of Abraham Lincoln 😊
29:42 I wasn't expecting Santa Claus to be there lol

That was pretty cool, but now I'm wondering, what was the deal with the mysterious Santa appearing at +29:41 in Lincoln's tomb?

Take a shot every time Jacob says “there”. You’ll be drunk in 10 minutes 😂😂
Very good video hope to see more of this kind of videos from time to time this and your haunted videos are really well done
"The Lincoln Extended Universe." Lolz. Also, why is Santa hanging out in Lincolns tomb? That's some serious David Lynch level stuff right there.

ONE OF LINCOLN DOUGLAS DEBATES WAS IN MY HOMETOWN OF FREEPORT!!

Pink Elephant, reminds me of Dean Martin who wore glasses like that and always had a Martini.
I just live around the corner from the cozy.
Maybe you could try corn dogs when you go to state fairs? That could be fun.
my great uncles family invented the “corn dog” aKa cozy dog. when i was a little 1 i played soccer sponsored by cozy dog. am glad folks r back visiting, the lockdown nearly killed this city~ didn’t even have the Illinois state fair 🥺
