I appreciate the detailed and informative vids that you guys are putting out now as opposed to sophomoric and borderline insulting vids at the products release.
I love using mbeq - I need to find a solid enough plugin host to use this in my live mixes. It seriously is the fastest and most effiecient EQ I've ever used.
@@MetricHaloAudio @makebelivestudio Anyway we could get a demo of that? That sounds super rad - I just checked it out online. Not sure which hardware exactly I need but definitely going to explore. My YT username is not revealing to who I am but I am growing to be somewhat known in the live audio community. I use this account to maintain annonymity but I would love to chat more offline :D
MBEQ is inherently a 12 band fully parametric EQ with a streamlined interface. Fab Q3 has lots of features and options that MBEQ does not. That can be a benefit or a drawback. It is easy to over do it with Q3 and it is easy to find yourself in analysis paralysis since there are so many things you *could* do. MBEQ focuses on the things you ought to do most of the time, with superb sound quality and simple operation. One thing that MBEQ does have that Q3 does not is the "Sauce" which is the analog box tone model from a Pye Console module. This can have profound impact on how you eq the channel and MBEQ allows you to drive into it, or turn it off (if required). So MBEQ provides the core channel EQ functionality with vibe, and it helps you get to where you need to go while mixing without having to engage the hyperanalytical side of your brain. Q3 is sort of the opposite.
I have an idea for a plug-in... anyone interested in building it for me and we'll sell it and split the profits? Or at least tell me how much it would cost to build it? It's a great tool for mixing and mastering..
Love MBEQ so much. Major part of my workflow now. Couldn’t work without it now that it’s been implemented 🙌🙌
Thank you!! We feel the exact same over here!!

Thank you so much!!
Get a MIO 3d + MADI card - and use MBEQ + Sontec (included with the HW) on the HW with 0 latency as a sidecar for your Live mixer...
@@MetricHaloAudio SAY WHAT?! I'll check this out right now. Thanks MH
