  • Some days I just want to shoot film, mechanical, old school, 35mm, inexpensive, and nostalgia.
The Minolta SRT range is epic.
The SRT 101 blows my mind with its simplicity yet technological marvels for its day. Loved shooting this camera with the R 55mm lens. Old school makes us happy for sure.

Still have mine with the 35mm rokkor HG 2.8. Go tomorrow shooting with a 160 Kodak portra too. Nice convincing video.

Great camera ;-) glad you kept it ! I like it more than the Pentax K1000 and it’s far less expensive

I use the later MD Rokkor 35mmf2.8. with a newer lens formula, it is smaller than the older MC Rokkor HG too.
This is a very good lens, usuable even at open aperture.
Very good on all Minolta cameras 👍
