Clubs finishing 3rd to 20th disrespecting a club finishing 2nd?
Arsenal are mentally weak.
Guess what, you get sweet FA for finishing 2nd 🤡😂 Doo doo doo shame about the Arsenal 😂😂
shows how massive the club in 2nd is
@@lukehall6911
You don’t get anything finishing 2nd. But better than 3rd to 20th.
Premier League clubs earn approximately £1.7million per place for their UK merit payment and they also earn around £1.4million per place for the international merit payment. In total, that equates to around £3.1million per place in the Premier League
Of course he is. There isn’t one parameter that shows anything other than progress. Silly rival fans are just envious, they know Arsenal’s success is right around the corner and they can’t stand it
@bg7393. Oooh yes. they are so scared until forced to back the cancer that is cheating 115 city. arsenal's progress and eventual success is there for all to see.
Arsenal getting this much criticism is insane. For the last 2 seasons, we have been the only team to really keep track with city (liverpool for about 80-90% of this season) and considering Man City are hailed as the best....its not a bad feat by Arsenal at all. Yet, we are getting slated to the hills for improving on last season and missing out by just 2 points. Its just maddness.
Nobody slated liverpool for missing out by 1 point, so why so much venom towards Arsenal. Had we not pushed as hard as we did until the last game, the league would have been wrapped up weeks, or even months ago. Which would have made the league even more boring.
Arteta's had 5 years...that's right...but he's, also, only been a manager for 5 years. His future is very bright and he'll definitely become an elite manager. Emery, Klopp, Guardiola have many more years of experience.
already an elite manager
4 years, 3 full seasons. First 2 seasons were riddin of Emery mess
He's only had the squad he wants for the past 2 and look where they are. He didn't walk into a golden club like pep did and does. Arteta still hasn't got a squad of what is fully his yet. Piece by piece
@@paulrichards6894 Conte is elite he won the league in his first season with Chelsea
@@joegugg4129
Conte can only play simple direct football parking the bus. Outdated in a world which tactics is a lot more complexed.
If Pep walked away Arteta would win 3 in a row.
The same way Klopp would have 4 or 5 titles.
Pep is the best of the best- coming 2nd to this genius is no mean feat.
Yes I think Arsenal will be champions in 2 years when pep is gone
Not 3 in a row but we’d definitely win here and there
Dont forget city did win the title before pep arrived
If we get 102 points next season they'll get 103 they're that good ffs 😂
😭
Weak mentality fans here. How many times has pep even reached 100 just once. The completion of the league was a lot less those 2 seasons he got 100 and 98. Miss me with this mentality let’s lay down for city. That goes the same for teams besides Arsenal. Most teams just lay down and accept it.
@@theach84 City don't go all out if they are ahead in the table. If they are chasing a team they can win 15-20 games in a row easy. No matter how many points other teams has city will chase them down.

Tune in next week when Simon will explain to us all how and why 2 plus 2 equals 4. We would all be lost without these insights.
Arsenal need a hitman, an Ian Wright or Thierry Henry. Not easy to get, but with a proven goal scorer in that already phenomenal Arsenal squad, trophies will materialise quickly.
Neither of those are 'hitman' whatever that is? We need a goalscoring striker. Period.
“Now he’s back into the content delivery mechanism of understanding what he’s looking at and pivoting when he’s made mistakes”
What a load of gibberish that word salad is.
16 wins out of 18 games second half of the season. Drawing to City and our only mistake being losing to Villa which cost us...that is the margins but the margins are getting considerably smaller which us the main thing.
Doku foul against Liverpool 100% penalty. 😊
We need at least 4 top players for the upcoming season, our replacements aren't upto standard and most of the time we made changes things got worse...
2 top strikers, a 2nd playmaker,
Real cover at left back for timber, enough with playing players in position where they aren't comfortable in...that costs us dearly....
And a CB as cover for Saliba and Gabriel, one who's flexible....
What are you talking about, 2 strikers and another playmaker?!? We need 1 striker, elite level, a true CDM, CB, LB, New No.2 GK. Do better

Super City team. I think Arteta wins the league in the next 2-3 years at most.
Well the season Liverpool won, City ended on 81 points. So Liverpool didn't really win a race, they pulled ahead early and didn't stop while City kept dropping points.
Liverpool that season were incredible though, probably should have got way more than the 99, they let up once they won the league mathematically.
Arsenal had a slower start this season, they need to pull ahead early on ideally
Next season they win it or they never do and everything falls apart.
@@agentbuizel9875 we would. Nobody believed we could keep up with city in the run in and we did. We have shown that we can fight in the tittle run in. Agree with Simon. All this improvement is good and sound great on paper but the fact is you have to win. Arteta is a good manager but he needs to win. Simple as.

It is an impossible task. The best any team can do is keep challenging. And if one year ManCity get unlucky, or if you get lucky, you can win the league.

Arsenal could be heading in the right place, but at the end of the day it's just a one team league. Mayne from the next season onwards just write the season off to City and advertise the league for 2, 3 and 4. It is what it is but it's just a one team league.
But if Arsenal continue to improve season on season, more points every single year, that’s eventually going to be enough to topple City. They finished 2 points behind them, that’s very far from a chasm between the two teams.
@@lordsnow9474 I see what you are saying, but realistically it's just a one team league. As a team and a group Arsenal have blossomed, but they won't win anything as long as a team like City are around. I am now starting to understand how Bundesliga teams feel when all the talk is solely on Bayern. It is what it is.
Arteta is only next to Pep and no other. No matter who Chelsea or Man Utd hire, Arteta will beat them. Arteta doesn't need anyone to defend him. He already knows his worth.
Just interrupt keown as he makes an interesting point. Its fine
Why would you congrat Man City? If Pep went to Spurs, Everton or Crystal Palace could he win the treble in the same amount a time as he did with Man City? Win the treble with your youths like Man UTD then I'll congrat you. What Arsenal's done was amazing, take my cap off.
What youths when the players were in their mid to late twenties and the players who scored in the semi and final were not youth players. The top scorer’s best midfielder and best defender was all record transfers at the time.
Arsenal did what they had to do, it's the other clubs in the league that failed when playing Man City. More clubs in this division need to provide more of a competition against them, teams just turn up, expect to be beat and get turned over too easily.
I'm a massive fan of Martin Keown but it makes me laugh to see him like he is now compared to the lunatic beast he was on the pitch for my club.

I've been critical of Arteta in the past, but I don't see how anyone could rationally criticize his performance. They are much improved, 2 points off of a great Man City team. The only people complaining are the more irrational Arsenal fans, and fans of other clubs who just want to be negative.

Net Spend is the most of any club in last 5 years. They can spend another 600m and still win fa
Chelsea €796m, United €694m, Arsenal €638m, Spurs €537m.
Get your facts right.
All PL teams spend big. Even teams that spend less are not far off Arsenal.
Most importantly, ManCity don’t have to spend big because they have already bought a world class squad.
You lie bro Chelsea have the highest net spend followed by united where did you get your facts from
NET spend means absolutely zero in football accountancy terms.
Check total spend, wages, agents fees and recalculate.
Fairly sure City’s annual wage bill is almost 90% of arsenals annual turnover
Look at what kind of squad Arsenal had 5 years ago, after years of selling their best players funding the new stadium.
Compare them to the United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool squad 5 years ago.
Arsenal spending €600 on 30 players to rebuild a rubsh squad, is different to other teams spending €600m on 10 players to upgrade their already world class squad.
Also, after spending, Arsenal improve their league position year by year. You can’t say the same to other clubs.
Net spend is 3rd behind Chelsea and Man Utd. Arsenal are 5th over last 10 years....
Cheaters
This focus on how much money Arsenal have spent seems daft to me, the team needed an absolute overhaul when Arteta came in. Arsenal only just got to the point now where we can genuinely add players to the squad rather than simply replace outgoing deadwood first 11 players. This season has been the first we’ve realistically gone for the title, last season was a surprise, and a bit early, so I’m looking forward calmly to the next three years as our young players mature in becoming a long term contender in all competitions.
Wow, what insight here from Sherlock Jordan. Arsenal are headed in the right direction... you think??? west ham fulham and villa isnt what cost them the league
what cost them the league is deciding to go to the etihad a few weeks ago and deliberately play for a draw from minute 1.
had they took the game to city, they would have won, city were in bad form at that time.
In bad form with how many games unbeaten before that game
Would have lost 3-0 if the bus is not parked.
Chatting pure waffle…City barely laid a glove in either game & the better chances fell to Arsenal
They beat Arsenal 3-1 & 4-1 the year before when Arteta tried to go toe to toe…
No the Villa game cost them we was ahead of city when we drew and we would of won the league by a point if we had of beaten villa honestly r u dumb bet u would of slammed Arsenal for losing away at city honeslty what a joker
What cost Arsenal the title was the dubious VAR verdict against them at Newcastle and Villa respectively, two precious points stolen. And everyone is pretending that it was ok
People say Newcastle or Villa cost Arsenal, but I think they lacked the ambition to try and win at the Etihad
We didn't need to beat City. They had to beat us. It was in our hands after the city result. If were looking at 2024, we lost the title at home to villa.
Two games = 6 points vs one match = 3 but got 1 one point. So how is that the game that costed us?
