Why balance a character fairly and smartly when you can just have their entire kit prevented by a low skill ceiling hero (Hero B) that anyone can play and then slowly buff them until they are kind of playable against said hero (Hero A) Which then makes Hero A overpowered against everything else and forces teams to play hero B against hero A only making counterswapping even more problematic which then leads to hero B being considered OP, they get nerfed and makes them underpowered against other heroes. This cements Hero B as just a counterswap pick and prevents anyone learning them as their main meaning they become impossible to balance futher as no one pushes Hero B to their limit.

Old doomfist had E bound to Seismic Slam and shift bound to Rising Uppercut by default. Its more natural for people who've played doom on his first iteration to associate E with slam.
i think there's a major difference between playing with a friend as your average joe where you're both having a back/forth conversation and playing with a friend where (1.) you're both streamers and so you both have live audiences trying to enjoy your own gameplay, (2.) its generally good practice/manners to mute your mic when having conversations with your chat, and (3.) people are coming for YOU, not the friend in the background just talking non-stop about sushi, how to spell map names, etc.
