In this chapter we read that Mysore was taken by British then why in map Mysore was like area that was not under in British rule
Mysore was a place that the British took over, but sometimes on the map, it was shown separately because they let the local rulers still have some control there. So, part of it was under British rule, and part was ruled by the local leaders.
