    I just stayed in that area while I was in Saigon. I loved the park & the surrounding area. I will only stay in landmark 81 when I’m in Saigon. So nice and safe. People are nice there because they are happy.

    Very useful info my man.
    The exchange video would be very appreciated.
    Is it better to exchange cash or withdraw from your home bank?

      Take ur money out. And go to a jewellery store across from Ben Thanh market called “Ha Tam” it’s a jewellery store which I talked about in the video. Exchange there. It always has line ups

      Yea it’s not the same name in toronto. But yeah it was gooooood. Toronto kfc sucks lol. Not what they used to be. It’s mushy oily grease. No more crunch.

      @@chriskatsoulis9650 move to Ho Chi Minh, the city is way bigger and more to explore. Da nang is a beach costal city. And while it’s big, it has its high and low seasons where it’s busy with tourists and deserted like ghost towns during rainy seasons. It may get boring for you. But da nang is always a $40 one way plane ticket from Ho Chi Minh, so it can always be a weekend getaway.

    Both Tylenol and Calvin Klein are American brands. Vinhomes are independently owned by people there, and not owned by one guy.

    Was expecting you to cover more of BT... but you only roamed inside Vincom Mall which is not a good represenation of how it is the best area to stay in HCM. Am also shocked you said Calvin Klein and Tylenol are european brands?!

    • @PhinexTV
      @PhinexTV  Месяц назад

      I have videos on BT that you can view! That’s why BT was mentioned in another set of videos. I mentioned in the video what is around my area that I stayed which was the landmark 5 building. I walked on foot to show why it was the best area to be around. It would differ if I was on scooter but this was just foot tour. Also, lol what I MEANT to say about the Calvin Klein and tylonel, I happen to have a bit of saying “European” and I don’t mean that in… Europe sense but more so “non-Vietnamese brand” is what I was trying to say. I’ll correct myself from now on to make sure the confusion is not there. So thank you for that!
      I surveyed in Vietnam asking about tylonel or Advil and most people do not know what that is. They have their own Vietnamese brand or off brand alternative which is the reason why I said, these are more European brands cuz the locals are not used to hearing that. Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein prices in Vietnam are THROUGH the roof! Compared to Canada or USA. Hope this was clear. But thank you for your feedback! Will improve for the next videos sir!

    Do you have to show them your passport when you check in? Im looking for a place to stay there for few weeks

    • @PhinexTV
      @PhinexTV  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes you do. It’s pretty common . But they give it to you back. Usually take a photo for security purposes for damages. Hope this helps!

    • @hantruong2036
      @hantruong2036 4 месяца назад

      Can I ask how much they cost for a week?

    • @PhinexTV
      @PhinexTV  4 месяца назад +1

      @@hantruong2036 I usually check in no particular order: agoda / booking . Com/ Airbnb and then I compare the prices. It shouldn’t be much compared to North American prices. Check those 3 websites and include in your area of stay. ALSO *** search all of this on “incognito” private window. If u do it on regular browser like chrome, data will be collected and the prices will go up the next few times you research.
      Also. If you want one week but not pay the Airbnb prices, you can look up district apartments on google and see how much they charge for short term stay. I’ve done only those 3 websites but not the mom and pop owned apartments where you pay to go upstairs apartment. :)

      I haven’t ate AT landmark 81 location before, just the vincom mega mall. Also. Shoukd never take common taxi. Take vina taxi or GRAB taxi. That’s it. Not the common one. That will be more pricy for you for sure. Learning tips for next time!
