I mean... Luffy has a really high metabolism, and even with all he eats, that one time in Alabasta post beating Croc and waking up after 3 days, he said he missed 15 meals. That's 5 per day.

I mean.... Luffy could probably continue to eat past what he even normally eats since he's made of rubber so his stomach could expand to hold it all if he was able to keep it down.

I feel like Sanji finds a way to mix in vegetables in a way Luffy doesn't notice so that he doesn't end up with scurvy
Fun fact, Luffy is not opposed to the idea of cannibalism. He did once consider eating Crocodile to be a valid strategy for beating him.

In terms of body types. Luffy is, quite literally in some cases, a cartoon. Even people in universe call out how ridiculous it is for him to be super fat and stuffed one moment and then completely fine the next.

SO fun fact there is a crossover episode of Toriko with both Goku and Luffy in it and both of them eat a MASSIVE amount of food.
It's in all 3anime not just in torriko

My quibble is that while Luffy is obviously obsessed with meat, he is also primarily eating what Sanji makes, who is all about no-waste and leftovers and filling classics like fried rice and soup (and, of course, given that they spend most of their time at sea, their proteins would likely be mostly seafood). Then again, I'm only at the start of Impel Down arc, so that might have changed after the time skip.
Oh for sure, Luffy eats just about anything Sanji cooks, be he's very quick to complain when it doesn't have at least mainly meat

Considering this is a One Piece episode, it would have been criminal not to invite Abigail over so so glad you did. As for the BBQ sauce, while Stubbs is great you need to get some Gates Original from here in KC.
Honestly, early shounen protagonists' diets are pretty insane. I mean, Goku and Luffy eat and insane amount of food. But at the same time, they work hard to burn it.

Nami stated that Luffy burns through energy and food 3x faster than a regular person.

I'm not sure if you're going to end up seeing this comment, so I may have to post it again on a newer video, but thinking of all of the meat you've consumed, and seeing that one shot of your backyard made me think of a great springtime video! Black Butler: you could eat as Ciel, but workout as Sebastian (a lot of body balancing and sprinting?) and have a garden tea party at tea time and be fancy! I also recall him having salmon for breakfast, which I found interesting.

As someone from tx That b.s seasoning actually won me a BBQ cook-off at our local county fair with ribs that I smoked on a 60-40 split of hickory and pecan with plain mustard as the base they were so tender they fell off the bone my only regret was I wasn't wearing a Sanji style suit

You talked about Luffy out eating Goku but did you watch Toriko? I think you’d love it, it’s a battle shonen but with focus on food, not like Shokugeki that’s actually a cooking anime, in Toriko they actually fight

Well, there was a crossover between One Piece and Toriko.
In Toriko the main goal is "Perfect Menu", so at the beginning of crossover we get a perfect menu of Luffy...all positions are meat. Including dessert and drink.
