I've loved everything so far, Judy! 🫶🏼 I especially loved the "wonderfluff" and "glitter" yarns!!! 💜 I can't wait to see the 2nd part next week!! Thank you for all of the work you put into giving us an in depth look at the Knit City festival! I'm hoping to make it to the Vancouver event.🤞🏼
That was so much fun to see the vendors again in pictures not to mention you and Bonnie. I was happy to meet Cathy and her hubby too. You're going to laugh but I came home with 5 skeins of yarn only. I had my birthday $$$ and I know my mom would have wanted me to get some special yarn with that. This was my first fiber festival and it was glorious but so overwhelming. My mind was mush halfway through the room. I will have to prepare myself better for next time. It was lovely seeing you again and can't wait for the next time ❤
Five skeins sounds maybe average for most but not me. I hear you about my brain turning to mush. It really is a lot to take in. I certainly didn’t look at every booth but I wish I had. It was so great to meet you all & I regret not getting a picture of us all. 🧡🖤💛
Thank you Judy for the great video. I particularly liked the description of Toronto as many years have passed since I‘ve been there from Europe. Although I usually buy too much yarn at fiber festivals, I know people who simply cannot decide on certain yarns given the incredible variety of alternatives. Take care of yourself in the heat 🥵….. ❤️
Hi Judy👋🏼 I’ve been waiting for this video 🥰🥰🥰 Oh I loved the knitted shawl in the bright colors 🧶🧶👍🏻🥰🥰🥰. I loved the Flamingo yarn 🧶 so pretty 😍. The Feisty Fibers yarn🧶👍🏻👍🏻. Queen Street West gorgeous 🧶🧶 Lovely sparkle in the Artfil 🧶🧶🧶. I too enjoy Max & Vincent from Le Garson. The Fluff looks wonderful. I’m glad you were able to meet up with some subscribers. I’m very sad, for you, that y’all didn’t get pictures. It sounds like you had a wonderful time. I do hope I get to a festival soon 👍🏻🧶🧶🥰🥰🥰🧡🧡🧡🧡
Glad you enjoyed it. And even more next week. Yes that bright shawl was gorgeous- almost makes me wish I could knit. I have seen it a few places online & wish I could get one. All the yarn was gorgeous. 🧡🖤💛
On my goodness! I can't imagine that much beautiful hand dyed yarn in on3 place! Yummy! Looks like you had a wonderful exhausting time! Can't wait to see the next video on it
Looks like you had a fabulous time. My favorite so far is the midnight kiss. The fluff is very interesting. How nice that you were able to meet up with some of your subscribers.❤
Absolutely loved this video! Glad you had a good weekend & enjoyed it, looking forward to next week's video. The story about the quiet room, made me absolutely laugh out loud! Being told it is a 'quiet' room - I'd have never put you as the shouting type hahahaha! Love all the yarn you ended up getting Judy! Re the samples of hand dyed yarn, this is why I (for the first time) did a knitted and crocheted sample - small, but a sample for both. It helps to visualize how the yarn would look. x
Glad you enjoyed it Adam. It was a fun weekend. I am actually quite loud when I get talking & I have a teacher’s classroom voice. Yup lots of lovely yarn. Good for you to do both samples. It will help I think. 🧡🖤💛
It is a fun colour. Have you seen yet haw many vendors there will be in Calgary? Over a 100 was maybe too many. I just couldn’t do it justice. Missed so many of them. 💛🖤🧡
Hi Judy. Just subbed to your channel. I am originally from Burlington Ontario. Been living in Kentucky for 30 years. Duo citizen. I’ll be watching for your videos. Your Toronto visit was awesome
Welcome aboard 👋🏻🙋🏻♀️ glad you found my channel & you will understand the Canadian references. The Toronto trip was fun & you will get the conclusion this week. 💛🖤🧡
Hi Judy - I really enjoyed listening to your experience at Knit City Toronto. The yarn you purchased is wonderful! I know what you were mentioning about overload and stimulation. Those meet-ups sounded exciting! I am so very interested to see and hear the rest when I return next week.
Thank you Gary. It needed to go for another day then I could have taken my time to see everything & spend a little time in each booth. So much to take in!! 💛🖤🧡
It was an amazing trip. I have tried knitting but because of the way I learned it isn’t going to happen. I have made a couple of scarves. No more! Sorry. 💛🖤🧡
Hi Judy I am just catching up now on your video after getting home. It looks like you had a great time and got a few treasures. I like the special colour ones that you got called Queen st West and Harbourfront and bet they will make something very pretty. Looking forward to your next video and more on Knit City that you have to show us.
Well I must say it looks like you had a lot to see there. I am envious of you being able to go there, I have never been to a Fiber event. I use to go to a sewing expo with my mom. We would plan for a year going and stay for all weekend, something I miss. But I am so glad you enjoyed yourself!
Thanks Naomi. It was a good time. I know they have some in WA. If you follow Karen Whooley who lives in WA you will hear her talk about them when they occur. 💛🖤🧡
Hi Judy , Excellent vlog!! I can tell you had an awesome time !! Seeing all the yarn and meeting up with friends . I love how on your vlog how you educate people on Canada. Hi Jane. Not sure others (Americans) appreciate the lessons. More on the bed situation next week. The problem could not be detected when it was made up. I know how many I bought but I did not tally the total cost. Don’t want to know. I decided I was going to go & enjoy & nit worry about cost. Although the food in the hotel was unbelievably expensive! 💛🖤🧡
@@judyscreationsincrochet2710 it's like going on holiday I bring a set amount of money for spending, I spent it..that's what holidays are all about .Same idea at your fibre festival. Usually I watch your Thursday video over the weekend -- my You Tube binge-y time -- but I was so eager to see more about Knit City and your lovely yarn...just couldn't wait till then. The highlight of Saturday (for me) was meeting up with you, Bonnie and Judy C... (Such a fun thing to hear how we are connected in Chatham-Kent. Jeff's work brought him to the GTA in 1998, so we have been here for a while now.) Unfortunately, Jeff and I had started our yarn tour at the left side, so we couldn't join you, Judy C and Bonnie after lunch, as we had already seen those booths during the morning. Regret, as it would have been fun to be with you all during the afternoon...
It really was a great time & I so enjoyed meeting all of you & learning of our connection. We should have gone with you & Jeff because we had more or less done the middle. We never did get to all the booths. Did you get any more yarn in the afternoon? So now I am looking forward to your video to get your impressions of the festival. 💛🖤🧡
@@judyscreationsincrochet2710 Yes, I did get a couple of more things... some sets of minis, some notions... and a lovely silk scarf that was hand woven & hand dyed (that one was a definite splurge, yet I do not regret it one bit 🥰). Now I see so many festivals coming up this summer and how will I ever resist? 😆🤣
I was hoping to find something hand woven but missed that. Darn! There are a number of fibre festivals north of Toronto that would probably be pretty good but they are too far for me to drive & there isn’t any other way to get to them unfortunately. If I lived where you are I would probably try to get to one. 😊🤩
Hello, thank you very much for sharing your experience. I am looking forward to Montreal knit city. Now I have to work hard on my stash to make space for next year yarn!
Glad you enjoyed it. So can I assume you live somewhere in the Montreal area? You will really enjoy it. I would love to go to Montreal as well to see how they compare. I think the list of vendors might be a bit different. 💛🖤🧡
Being in northern-ish Minnesota, I understand about misconceptions about the weather . Most think it is below zero year round. It does get stupid cold in the winter . Spring and summer, however, are completely different. We get high °90's F with ridiculous humidity .
Hi Denise. And I am farther south than you. That surprises a lot of Americans. I am on the same latitude as Northern California! Enjoying some real humidity at the moment. 💛🖤🧡
Jadyn’s wanted to leave so we needed up leaving 1 hour in. We got one walk around and sorry couldn’t meet back up but glad I saw you in the morning for that quick second :)
I am so sorry we were on our way out because we had to get checked out. Would loved to have visited with you for a bit. So glad you saw me because I walk around oblivious to things around me. Did you enjoy what little you did see while there? 💛🖤🧡
Hi Judy! So glad you had a great time, seeing yarn and meeting people. Thanks for advocating for the crocheters😊❤
You are so welcome! I will continue to push for crocheters any chance I can. We are important to their business as well. 💛🖤🧡

Snow and tundra,….I grew up in WNY. Very familiar with the weather. Now in PA. This week high 70’s to 80’s. No thank you to 100+. Stay inside👍
