I just wanted to say your tutorials are so on point, like I can see super clearly AND I'm not being blinded where I'm getting a headache. Keep at it girl!
Hi from TN! I am an old lefty self-taught crocheter. When I taught myself to crochet, I had no idea that there was such a thing as left-handed patterns. To this day, I cannot use one to save my life. I learned two things from his video - - that this is thee perfect granny square, and that there is such a thing as a *stacked* stitch!!! I will never go back to ugly old chain stitches again!!! My daughter has decided that she wants to crochet. I sent her links to *your* tutorial videos to help her learn. If anyone can teach her, I do believe that *you* can. ❤
Stacked single crochet is a game changer - got this from one of your top tutorials and I always use it now! Actual stitch so much better than floppy chain. Ty! ❤
Yeah, seriously! I just taught myself granny squares about a month ago, and I’ve never liked the chained part. This looks so much better!
YAY!!!! IVE JUST MADE MY FIRST EVER SUCCESSFUL GRANNY SQUARE!!!Ive tried for literally years to crochet. Just cant "get it". This is the clearest tutorial on granny squares ive ever seen. You are a natural teacher. Feeling so confident with your instruction, ill be trying it this afternoon. First time i feel confident that I will be able to do it!! THANK YOU 😊
If you can help this grandma recovering from a stroke, kudos to you!
Aaaaah I'm so happy, I'm not even native english but still understood everything so clearly in this video! And it turned out just like yours!
Have I made many granny squares? Yes. Did I watch this tutorial anyway? Also yes
Same!

Thanks so much. You are an awesome teacher ❤️. You have been the only person on here who has been able to teach me how to crochet a grannies square. You are amazing!
I discovered your channel about four days ago have been watching your videos like crazy. It’s been really wanting me to get back into crocheting again and I decided to see if you had a granny Square tutorial and you did so I’ve never learned how to make granny squares things to you and I have so many project ideas so we can thank you for making this video.❤❤❤❤

I have watched 2 or 3 other granny square videos and this one has come out correct each row.
All of your other videos are great and I can understand the stitches and placing correctly.
Thank you!
Thank you for all your amazing videos! 8 years ago I started crocheting and my first project was a large granny square blanket. Since then I've tried many other things but I really miss making the granny square blankets. You inspired me to start one! Thank you!!! I also love the stacked single crochet. My first time trying it. I feel like it looks better and makes it more sturdy. Keep up the great work!😁
Great vid! Would like to see a follow up on how you “sew” the granny square together. Thanks 👍

Firsttt❤❤❤ hello kelsey❤❤ I follow you since then and you inspired me a lot to have my own crochet business ❤ I really want to make it my full time work😢.. I hope that dream will become a reality ❤
Love from the Philippines ❤
Thank you for the tutorial ❤❤
Hi just wanted to say that this helped me a lot thank u ❤
Love your videos! Im just learning and was wondering why you make a stacked single to start instead of a double? Thanks!
What are all the things that you need in your crochet bag. And can you recommend good crochet hook sizes ❤😊
Hi Kelsie,
Thank you for this tutorial!
Can you make more tutorials of granny squares with different designs?
Thank you so much❤❤
Thank you very much❤
I stopped the tutorial half way through because your instructions were SO clear I immediately got the hang of it
Thank you so much. I just successfully crocheted my very first granny square thanks to your tutorial. ❤ All the best from Germany
This video is great! But my only issue is when it comes to adding the second colour I had to watch like 20 times as you were crocheting so quickly I couldn’t see how you were blending in the original slip-stitch
I got it!😊
i have never learned more than by simply watching your videos
Hi, i just got yarn today and ive never crocheted,i made the magic circle but i cant chain like ill wrap the yarn around my hook and when i go to pull through the slipknoght the yarn will just unwrap itself if that makes sense and ive tried a million tutorials and times but i cant figure it out, could u maybe make a video on it so i czn learn how to chain or explain it to me?
Thank u
Edit- im using loops and threads acrylic yarn and the recommended loops and threans 5.5 hook
How come you do a stacked single crochet instead of a regular double crochet?
I see you are doing it.
I had never seen double single crochet til now.
I’ve always heard you should turn your work after every round so the granny square would not be lopsided? 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve never had that problem interestingly enough
@@PassioKnitKelsie@sandrastull7595 I always did that too but Kelsie's came out even better than those! I'll never do it again!
My yarn is all old yarn that has just been in a box in my house and none of them have the paper around them, to tell me what hook i should use, is there any other way to know?
You can just see which one fits most comfortably around the yarn, you can do this by chain stitching a few times with it.😊
Back in the 1970’s when I started crocheting we just crocheted in the ends.
Do you have to weave in the ends?
I would like to do the slip knot the way you do it but you make it so fast I can’t see what you are doing 😂😅
u can slow the video😊
Is there somewhere I can get this pattern written?
Please do a tutorial on beanie by knitting machine
What are those scissors? They seem so sharp
I don't understand why you didn't do 2chains and three doubles in other corner?
