Oh my. Gorgeous version of this song. He’s very talented and makes difficult techniques look so smooth and natural. Thanks for sharing your take on it. Love you reactions! 😁
Great video as always I’m a life time member and I love it. How you approach everything is really easy to follow and learn. You are a great teacher. One thing I wish is that you had your own app in the App Store. The website is still great but would be nice for an app of its own. Thank you.
So so so beautiful ❤️...I love it...thank you Michael for understanding and bringing Peace in my heart... and ya keep me smiling and laughing it's what I been needing life after life after Life...❤ AM... XX April Williams UI... Using My overseer phone lol .. Peace and Love 🔥🔥
I've been enjoying your channel on You Tube. I am not a musical person other than I love listening to and moving to music! But I now have a better appreciation for what I listen to thanks to you & your videos. Just curious.....have you ever heard of a little Texas guitar player named Monte Montgomery? His big hit, "When will I" is reminiscent of this style of guitar playing from Andre Cavalcante. (Who I've never heard of but now will go check out more!) You have turned me on to so many musicians I've not heard of until seeing them on your channel. Keep up the great work, my friend.
Hey Michael! Enjoy your vids so much! Keep up the great work! Just 1 thing, I think those harmonics are done with ringfinger & index, instead of ringfinger & thumb! For anyone trying to emulate, it's easier that way!
Hey Michael, have you heard Luca Stricagnoli? He's a really great fingerstyle guitarist. He plays a custom triple neck guitar. It's pretty mind-blowing.
could you react to Feng Suave - session at Into The Great Wide Open 2018 [sink into the floor], a really cool indie song with a guitar that melts the room.
there's more efficient ways of changing pitch than playing roulette with the tuning pegs, but when you're performing lakeside, sat on a boulder, your options are somewhat limited, i guess. either way, what impresses me more than fancy moves is when i'm taken into unexpected and unknown musical directions - which this track does, of course.
It's a pretty song, he's obviously very talented, but I just can't feel it. Meanwhile, Warren Haynes can bend one note and nearly bring me to tears. To each his own, I guess.
Lovely piece. The tuning thing is a bit too gimmicky for me. Fun to look at, but sound-wise it barely registers. I get why he does it, to stand out from the crowd - and it worked, so good for him.
@@benjaminkoskinen5835 It’s just difficult to dissociate the two from one another. You’re not wrong in your reply. I appreciate you sharing the Spirit and an alternate perspective.
Kind of agree with the reply of who cares? I know everybody we want to judge based on who their associated with or what they do in their private life but let's leave artists and those that create art to be judged just on that. Like the video, actually love the video! Never heard the song so this was a great intro
Amazing!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
In what tuning do you use 😇

Praise the Lord man he can sure make a sweet sound, nice to cover a worship song
Cosmic tones from that combo of techniques - pinch, tuners, etc - and best of all it serves the melody🔥
He's using banjo style tuners much like Adrian Legg. Changing tuning while playing, which is super cool.
Love it ❤
WOW!!!!

if i remember correctly there's a specific type of tuning pegs that can change pitch like that without messing with the guitar's tuning

It’s like he’s turned an acoustic into a steel guitar.

The Guitar Gods - Larry Carlton - "Blues Force"
Hey Michael ! Can you do one on Erik Mongrain - Raindigger ? Such an underestimated artist

Check out, don't give up guitar. 12 must have chords for modern worship. Explains how worship music is its own genre

What do you mean barely registers? He was creating the whole melody with the tuners
@@dylanrogers510 Sonically, it's so quick that it's barely any different from sliding. If it was a slow glissando, I'd probably dig it.
China chasmer Christ
Oceans was a great song; I just wish Hillsong United wasn’t connected to such a problematic church.
What does it matter? Stay strong to your instinct of the music being great. Their leaders failed, but the music will live forever.

This whole slappy tappy style is so overdone and obnoxious to me. I honestly can’t Stand it.
