After all of this success, following his departure in 1997 from Soundgarden as the Grunge scene came to an end Cornell would put out solo albulms to try and keep his career alive. Then in 2001 Audioslave was formed, a Super Group with Rage against the Machine members and Chris Cornell Audioslave would rock the 2000s. At this time Chris was in rehab and was a recovering addict when Audioslave put out its debut record "Audioslave". Their debut record would too find mainstream success and would later dub the term the post grunge movement. Audioslave would also go on to have achevied multi platinum status throughout the world as well as have been nominated and have won many Grammy awards. Audioslave would disband in 2007. 2010 rolls around and Cornell and Soundgarden reunite bringing them back to stardom while touring around the world and even put out a new record. While reunited with Soundgarden Cornell would also put out even more solo albulms and would perform many songs for many movies which would lead to Cornell himself getting nominated and would win many Grammy Awards. Following a 2017 concert in Detroit Michigan Cornell would be found dead in his hotel room after an apparent suicide by hanging after some years of relapse leaving behind his wife and 3 children. Following his death Chris would go on to receive even more awards for unreleased self titled songs. Rest in Peace Chris you will be missed.
"Did anybody survive that war?" some did and were moved to reservations-- the descendants of the bands involved live now on the Fort Sill and Mescalero reservations. note: the last raid of the Apache Wars was actually in 1924, though the main group with Geronimo surrendered in 1886-- in the scheme of history, that's not that long ago at all. the Apache were basically the last free tribe. another bit of info: the longest acting war leader of the Apache during the wars was actually a woman named Lozen. I highly recommend reading up on her. she lived through the end of the war, where she died of tuberculosis as a prisoner of war in 1889.
