You're an absolute legend Chandler, especially after the most recent Ice Face where you laid your heart bare for us to understand your personal thrill and agony better. See you at the top, my friend.
Regarding your point that "there's nothing enlightened about dulling your own light so that others don't feel insecure around you". I'd say it depends on your circumstance, for example say you have a situation where outshining someone close to you (an older brother for instance) could be a threat to your own life as a youth, you'd be better advised to stay dull until such time as you're capable of defending yourself.
Dude may have gotten the torch passed of the ‘type of guy’ jokes from Ferguson. So here goes the first one… Micheal chandlers the type guy to answer fan questions by posing his own questions to himself in the third person
My deepest RESPECT, Iron Mike...dude, big fan here HONESTLY. I am a legit fan who loves to see people do well. Not at all a hater as they say. I offer this very hesitatingly, on my part, constructive criticism....drop the "ahmmm's" out of your lexicon as it pertains to your verbal RUclips channel delivery because it is just a tad off of your world-class 1% professionalism that you overwhelmingly embody Champ Much AGAPE Love Brother
40:00 on Point, you have been a gem of employ for UFC since you joined, I hope they hire you to do some commentary after you are done with your fighting career
What’s your diet like in training camp vs your maintenance phase in between fights where you’re able to focus more on training and not having to make weight?
I have great question for Michael chandler…. What’s your walking weight compared to the weight you are at when you are standing in the octagon after weighing in ?
Michael, keep doing your channel, please share stories with us about interesting moments in your fights, about how meticulously you prepare, how train, how you eat. You are a professor of MMA!
I'm a nobody in martial arts, but... You're only this age, you're at your peak! I'm 31 and I started Judo few weeks ago. And I've practiced (and still practice sometimes) Muay Thay from 23 to 27, K-1 last year, BJJ... If you start to do a discipline, your body will adapt to that: everyone has different ways to adapt, so you will find your strenghts and your weak spots, so you can work on them. But, I repeat, you're in your golden age, If you're not aiming to compete in super agonistic levels. Later, in your 30ies your body maybe will have a tiny bit less of energy, but you'll become better at managing it. Experience matters. So, don't worry too much for your age! A woman fellow martial artist in the BJJ dojo I practiced has 70+ years, she still comes to train... Keep on rolling!
Michael “good question” Chandler is the only person to have never been asked a bad question. Inspirational.
Michael Chandler can definitely make a career on RUclips after fighting
