Drinking coffee on a Sunday morning with my headphones on watching and listening to your amazing layout. Truly cool and very well done! Love your engine varieties! 😎
Looks great! The water effects look real, and you've got some great scenes for vids. Here in the south and on the western railroads they tend to use fairly chunky ballast. So that coarse stuff is rather prototypical. Enjoyed the video!
Hey Eric. Great job on the layout expansion. I really love the details in the gorge, especially the waterfall. I can see from the water tower and logging camp, that you inherited a lot of talent from your grandfather. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Bring the scenery color; ex: blue for water, brown when brown etc... On the layout s boarder instead of the white on the surround edge board. Great layout almost museum!!!
I am simply amazed at your articulated steam locomotive collection. You must have at least $30,000 just into those locomotives that I could see nevermind the ones I c a n t . Now the Pennsylvania least a dozen Santa Fe 2-10-4 Texas type. So you can have one of those on your layout and it would be more prototypical than your big boy.
Thanks Frank, I was very fortunate to inherit most of my collection. The 2-10-3 is on my list one day. I run a little of everything steam but especially like big steam
Thanks Rick! I was luckily enough to find those reefers sealed in the box from someone who was selling the whole set. I also picked up some add on cars to complete it
When you have a a a set of diesel locomotives one of which is probably the dummy I hate it when the manufacturers put an engineer and fireman facing backwards in another unit they should be separate pieces for you to be able to glue in or to leave out because you're not going to have four men i n 2 locomotive. I always put the power unit in the back and I put the dummy unit in the front because I can get a cab interior to fit the dummy I could put a crew in there as well. With a beautiful gorgeous layout like that how could you say could even ever taking it down.
The level of detail is off the charts. Scenery can be intimidating but you make it look and sound so simple. Phenomenal job 👏🏽 👏🏽
Thank you very much!
Fantastic stuff here Eric! Love the Saw mill in the back.
The trestle bridge is really stellar!

Looks really good. Train rails look orange in video wish I could see this in person very nicely done
Thank you! For some reason the camera picks them up as orange but they’re a little browner in person

Bravo Eric wonderful job
Thank you! That’s a Lionel vision line class a in PRR. Check out my recent video on it
Amazing video 😊
Glad you liked it
A very nice video and layout. I have plans to expand my own HO scale layout, though I don't believe mine will be quite as large (or detailed) as this.
Good luck! Enjoy the process
@@erictrainman Thank you very much for your kind words :).

Eric - Looks great man! How nervous were you the first time that new Class A traversed the bridge?
Thanks Chris! Let’s just say it crawled across that trestle and I was ready to catch it 😂
Eric, great job on your layout update. 👍🏻👍🏻 Where did you get the two blue goose paint scheme Santa Fe reefers?
Thanks Rick! I was luckily enough to find those reefers sealed in the box from someone who was selling the whole set. I also picked up some add on cars to complete it
Who is the manufacturer of the reefers?
Dude your tracks look great! How did you get the rails to look like that?!
Thanks man! I used an oil based marker. To fill it in, I have a quick old video on it in my channel
@@erictrainman ok I’ll look for it!!
The PENNSY ROAD never had a class a steamer ever!!! What’s up with that?
See my video on the PRR class a. It’s a “almost was” paint job for the class As that the PRR trialed before deciding to go with the 2-10-4 instead
👍👏👌🇺🇸🏒🦫🎸🚂 Bravo

Thank you Frank, unfortunately it’ll have to come down in the next year or two, but only to move so I can have a larger one
Excellent only thkng distrubing the over appearance: it is f... ing 3 rail.
Thanks…. I think 😂
