In our hindu religion a high priest is rested in sitting state.
Does in this funeral the body is also in sitting position.

Yes, it is in sitting position with crown/hat on head, later the crown/hat remove when the monk light the fire. This is normal funeral procedures here in Sikkim of Bhutia community.

Thanks for watching my vlog, this kind of funeral procedure is very common here in Himalaya state called Sikkim,they perform more elaborate funeral procession called ( serbong )if the departed soul is high lama, monks and gents, but in tibetan community I haven't seen doing such dead ritual, here it is normal.
