Inspiring to see Creighton Waters get the recognition and respect he deserves - he no doubt toiled over the case (as the entire team surely did) but he was certainly the lead and was at the lectern the bulk of the trial. No grandstanding, no theatrics, not overly emotional - calm and consistent hammering of the facts and calculated destruction of the lies. I particularly enjoyed him calling Alex on his “paw paw” and “Mags” bull shiii. That was great and spot on! Cheers to the team 🙏🏽

I wouldn't understand people who didn't like him as I thought he was outstanding the entire trial and both him and Mr Meters absolutely nailed the closing arguments and knocked it out the park and was his final nail in the coffin. So happy with the jury too. It seemed like 95% of people who watched this entire trial had no doubt he was guilty but I was worried the jury would have one gullible person who would fall for the entire Paw Paw and fake crying routine. It would've only taken one on that jury..."He could never hurt Paw paw and Magz!" And a hung Jury. Excellent job all round!

It is said he committed suicide ( he was suffering from depression). The family covered it up and sued the railroad in a huge case and won millions. AM could of beat this but he done all the wrong things, first was the night of the killing he should have had blood all over him from holding Maggie and at least acting concerned, but no he asked the dumb question of ARE THEY DEAD, he gave himself away right then and there, second he should have been constantly asking the law where are the killers, he should have constantly yelled that even in court, but he sat in court like a knot on a log

I think that in a werid, twisted, psychopathic way, he loved them, and he wanted to spare them from the misery that was awaiting both of them: shame, humiliation, embarrassment, hatred from others, isolation, etc. And also to spare himself for the feeling of not being able to protect them from it any longer or protecting himself. Lastly, his brain was damaged by drugs and who knows what people do them. I don’t think he hated his wife or son, he thought he was sparing them from something he contributed to.

I'm still confused about Alec's relationship to SLED members. I thought they were in Alex's pocket, ready to use whenever a family member was caught breaking the law. Were there particular agents? They've covered up for this family for decades, yet now they appear to be the hard working, fact finding men of the hour. Why suddenly turn ? Are the real crooked officers quaking in their boots imagining who's next? If I went through the training , long hours, hard work and dedication SLED officers put in, I'd have no respect for a blowhard, entitled, ne'er-do-well who had the balls to have police blue lights installed on his car and swinging his shiny badge. I don't get any of this but one fact is true. Creighton Waters led the Charge of the Might(y) Brigade. Mr.Meadors brought it down to Main St and laid it on a silver platter with his brilliant Southern charm. What an experience. I may have changed my opinion on Southern living. Maybe. A little.

I think it doesn't reflect professionally and appropriate for prosecutors to be on tv doing victory laps. I think the day we allowed cameras and such in courtrooms just further perverted our legal system. Maybe it will help shine some light on how unfair our system can be as far as rich and poor defendants and the quality of representation they are allowed

The whole team worked hard. I feel Mr Meadors ultimately put AM in his little cage and locked him up. I'm glad the world was watching and following. He thought he could manipulate the jury as he does normally everybody around him.. He was so arrogant bragging about his grand daddy's legacy. Such a pathetic specimen. I still can't believe he eliminated his wife and son to cut down costs.
