Fun fact in case you didn’t know: The girl in black and white before she started singing is France gall, She won for Luxembourg she has a very sad story while at Eurovision 1965 you can watch her performance on the Eurovision channel!

This song got stuck in my head since I heard it. I did not pre listened to it, but after watching all the performances, I knew it was going to win because it was the only one that really stood out. I still don’t get why the public voted so oddly 🙄🤔

They won the public vote because they were the only really well known participants, they have the biggest fan base of all the contestants and there were several public viewings specially dedicated to them.
