At Dormy Inn, you are actually allowed to go back for more bowls of the Yonakisoba ramen. I always asked them and it was fine every time. At the Kawasaki Dormy Inn the lady even said "as many times as you like!" I love Dormy Inn, top notch service. I do agree with your point on pricing though, they're not cheap! Edits: 25:34 They have Matcha latte in that Dormy Inn?! None of the ones I stayed in had that. I would've gone all ham on drinking that. 30:05 Ah this is a very good point. I have noticed when booking Dormy Inns that the price skyrockets on weekends, sometimes doubling even from the weekday rates. Depending on the location as well, the price can vary drastically which of course makes sense, as the city you stay in plus the available types of room are different. Anecdotally, the cheapest rate I've paid is 6840 per night (Hiroshima, super economy room, no room shower, so only public bath). Most expensive, 12445 (Kawasaki, Superior Queen room). Nice video!
Wow, I did get two bowls once, but that was the extent of it. I think the lowest I paid at a Dormy was around 5,000 yen in Abashiri with breakfast, but that was right at the beginning of the pandemic. Thanks for all the insight you shared here!
Damn tricky toilet! I couldn't stop laughing out loud Amazing video. I loved the comparison between the two types of hotel and the thorough review of both.
