The only problem I have with the adaptation is that the animation isn't really living up to the hype, it's very simplistic, unless the studio is gonna go all out for certain scenes perhaps
@@gerdanbombales It's not fine. YOU don't understand, the problem with season 2 animation is that it is not fluid and so stiff that it looks like fan animation. The stiffness is the cause of the bad animation
@@dondrickdem For this level of hype and years of waiting i want Frieren... or At least Mushoku quality. But if you see 1st episode of Frieren with it's animation, backgrounds etc, it's like 1000 steps ahead of TOG. Frieren has smooth animations, detailed emotions and simple almost-unnoticeable things but good for overall picture. Otherwise the whole adaptation not only worse in lore-wise (cuz they cut like 70% of content and character development), but animation too. I still remember like 4 fps Yuri walk to Repellista in 1st episode, and battle against Love in previous episode was a huge joke. Adaptation supposed to add another dimension to original source with animations and other things, not remove it. Now we just have fricking parody to the point, reading 1st season of manhwa with it's artstyle is still more interesting and fun than watching 2nd season of anime. Also, multiple uses of the same shot like 4-5 times in this episode (Khun eye)... man... I like TOG... but look what they did with to my boy... it's kinda sad TOG became 3rd grade underbudget show from 2005-2010. But Angel Beats still have better animations in 2010, than TOG in 2024. The only thing i liked from 2nd season of TOG so far is Khun speech in this episode.
I remember for the longest time TOG readers theorized that the scene where Khun held his hand under the sun was supposedly Rachel's lighthouse. which would logically make sense as it lead into "that scene". but the anime just basically saying, "nah it's a sunset" makes me laugh cuz I did kinda like that theory tbh lol.
There will be 2 parts, each having 13 episodes. With the first part adapting up to more or less chapter 55 of season 2 of the manhwa. And the second part adapting up to the end of the workshop arc.
I think in my opinion Tower of God has one of the best story out there and world building wise and also the Characters are so good in this story. But in the Anime adaptation it could be a little more better on the Character design and art style wise, not saying it's bad but could be better. The Storyboarding, Character's VA, The Beautiful Soundtrack, Sound Design, and The Pacing are just all great in this anime but sadly the Animation wise is not living to it's hype. And also i want to know what you guys opinion on this adaptation?
I guess I’m the only one who likes Rachel character yes she sucks but she’s in my top 5 favorite written characters in tower of god without her the show would have been another bland tower climbing manwha
I like Bondrewd more than Rachel like 1000 times. At least he has clear character we understand. Twisted, broken, wicked - yes. But 10 years later we still have no info about Rachel, and all her motivation "i would be bad, cuz i want to be bad". She is climbing the tower, cuz she wants to... if she want to be popular girl and shine as she said, she better stay on like 20 floors, being better with skills (if she has it), than most of the regulars there. But if she really want to climb, be a good girl is better than b-word. It's simply anti-productive.

I agree season 1 anime was far better in terms of animation and quality
The animation is fine..y'all want movie level production for a anime that doesn't have as many assets as these big mangas or manwhas
Its funny, because its simplicity its why I like this season than S1.

i think its already bland, even with her. Adaptation is kinda poor ngl
