This type of foul is just stupid, the defender doesn't even try to stop the shot and just hug the offensive player stopping him from shooting. How is that just a common foul? The announcer is correct. This is what happened when referees don’t call fouls, referees should be fine and or suspended without pay when they fail to do their job properly. keep in mind this is a business and those are assets that’s playing basketball. You don’t want your asset getting injured because of a refs failed to do their job properly.
