- Every year at the world’s largest pipe show in Chicago, IL a group of world class pipemakers gather to share the skills and techniques of their craft with a group of students. Students walk in the room with empty hands, and leave with their own pipe crafted by their own hands. The seminar is lucky to have guest instructors who have traveled all over the globe drop in to offer tips, tricks, and share their experiences as craftspeople.

@@jalanpipes Hello Mr Alan. I am writing to you with google translate. I learned a lot from your videos. What material do you make the pipe mouthpiece from? Thank you.
I’ve made 19 so far. One day I hope I can come to one of these shows and meet knowledgeable people and other carvers. One day.
Great!
I sense a lot of potential in this Tom fella! ;)
He's really going somewhere. :)
So awesome:). This is what the world needs
Thanks Sean!
Wish I was in USA to learn from you guys ! I've started my pipe making journey about 2-3 months ago and learned a lot watching RUclips videos like yours and from reading forums online. I got myself about 12 finished pipes and plenty of french briar and stems to work with (I sadly don't have money for a lathe so I can't make my own stems, only work on premade ones). Thanks a lot for your content Jeff 🙂
Congrats on beginning your journey! Keep at it and you’ll only get better and better!
Mr Tom Eltang, next year will be even better! (This group performer is so cute, I was still thinking, I seemed to see someone familiar just now, why is there no one in the group photo, the easter eggs are amazing~!)🤣
glad you liked it!
Very cool!! I'd like to attend one of these!
Please do!
Wow, I'd love to do this one day!
You should!
So happy for your success and flourishing, friend. Quite a ways from West Windsor and pipemaking in the New Jersey winters.
whoa! Craig, good to hear from you, man! thanks so much. It’s been quite a journey, but I’m grateful for what I get to do every day. I hope you and your crew are all well.
🥰
Thanks!
Last part Tom really honestly, please help me to teach him become master. Thanks J 😂😂😂
Haha! It pays to stay to the end sometimes. :)
I`m Tom. It`s my first pipe😀
