It might sound silly but the new engine sounds are great and make the rooikats more enjoyable to use. A lineup of the 4 rooikats + the warrior is quite a fun meme lineup. Much more viable than the AVRE.
It's mix of speed, laser RF, thermals and DM33 are insane. They don't sound like much but you can eat enemy teams alive on maps like Maginot. That and this tank is amazing for rushing a cap, taking it and then pulling back. It's almost guaranteed RP if you're not a late spawn.

Well Mbts are usually taken out with one shot too, seldomly take multiple hits and live. Relying on armor in WT is kinda pointless. Who gets around people the fastest usually wins. Shoot 'n scoot battles are my best battles.

I had several cases of it tanking multiple ATGMs with damaged components but no casualties. Both are great but the challanger is better for beginners, although I advise against buying a high tier premium as a tier 1 or 2 player
Small nitpick but the premium Chally is a Mk.3, so different charge stowage in the turret and 4 rounds of first-stage rather than 3 (it won’t get the L26 though)
Rooikancer 105, really OP vehicle for its BR (super fast both forward and backward, gen1 thermals, DM33). But the players are often one death leavers, especially when on my team
What's with the insane crew training prices for premiums in this game, and why? We already payed for the vehicle! Technically u have to pay the pice of a tech tree variant + its crew price in SL to get the expert. Who can afford that? NOT ME! Only a few of my rank 5 premiums got the expert training and almost non of my higher rank ones, and it does means if u die soon or not, specially in jets! Anyway the new ammo is nice but, it wasn't the firepower this AC biggest weakness. While speed is good, agility is awful, even the huge Class 3(p) can maneuver better not to mention more advanced ACs like the Centauro or even the WMA301 +there's the "power-slide" issue, and even with the stabilizer the vehicle just not a stabil enough platform to shoot on the move, no roof MG, and the lineup around it is a bit ... questionable (I run it with 8.0 and 8.3 tanks and i wish i had the Sho't kal dalet)! On some maps i have to spend minutes doing Y turns, but +1 point from me, for at least it can not be killed by 50'cals from the front! And i found HESH very useful against light vehicles and against "hull down" MBTs where shooting at their roof or cupola always gets a few crew killed or more.

Im not a fan of this vehicle, i bought a talisman for the 8.3 rooikat instead and bought the wma301 to have 'premium wheely boy' fun with. Not that the Rooikat 105 sucks but 8.7 to 9.7 is my least enjoyable br in the entire game, waaaaay to many full uptiers.

Armor only works at lower tiers, so minimizing the spalling and debris is good, also, every tank can be taken out with a well placed explosive shell.

Yes is my answer. I bought this when it costed 30 bucks and it was trash but since it got dm33 it has been so much better

The Challenger Mk.2 is a great tank, I would say it’s a better buy than the Rooikat however the Rooikat is still good and pretty fun
It’s kind of stupid that this thing gets DM33 at the same BR as the MTTD which is stuck with DM23
The MTTD do get much faster reload with that autoloader.
