Interesting that you talk about that opening because my bottle is not harsh on the opening at all. It is very fresh, gingery, and very, very pleasant; I love this frag from beginning to end. I always love spraying this stuff just as a casual out and about scent or right out of the shower. In some ways, without smelling BDC, Tag Him smells similar to Ecko by Marc Ecko, especially with the ginger. Not one of my best scents in my collection, but it is very solid and I would highly recommend it to a person just getting into fragrances. Jeremy recommended Perry Ellis Red as a top cheapie to buy, but Tag Him blows Perry Ellis Red out of the water, in my view.
I got this and hunter intense from Armaf this week. I think hunter intense smells better than this. I got this because I go through my Bleu like a maniac even with my 150 plus bottles and wanted a Bleu De Chanel clone for my office. But on my skin I get Bleu for the first 10 minutes and then it totally becomes a different woody smell on me.
I strongly prefer Armaf Tag Him then BDC.

i just purchased mine and i definitely agree with the presentation of the bottle. i think it’s incredibly cheesy BUT that doesn’t mean that the fragrance itself is all too bad. I enjoy it and is a good buy for $20

I really like armaf fragrances, but sometimes their packaging is horrible.
I got no issues with this house. Always a great cheapie. I’m a fan of anything that smells good I can go from wearing Bond no 9, tom fords, to like a Perry ellis 360 to some juice from this house you are reviewing
A man after my on heart! You took the words right out of my mouth...I dare NOT buy a Fragrance just because of someone's opinion or review! Armaf is an amazing house! I have no issues!!! BTW, I love the opening AND the opening is never the same as the dry down with ANY fragrance!

I bought this 6 months ago, and I must agree that the opening sucks. I really didn't care for it to much until I decided to wear it and got 3 compliments the 1st time i wore it. Is it great? No, but it's good enough for a scent to wear when you don't fell like wearing your good stuff.
Same thing with Armaf craze.. the opening is harsh he first 20 min but after that, that almond and vanilla smell so good! Smells Just like Pegasus by Parfums de Marley. Almost exactly alike

What about Armaf Voyage Bleu? What’s your thoughts on that?
There have been few frags that have gotten me bad comments but unfortunately this was 1 of those frags. It starts out smelling promising but then transitions into a synthetic mess of BDC. However, the performance on this was beast !!! With only 2 sprays
Armaf Enchanted Trend is a better BdC clone from Armaf, but it doesn’t get talked about much as it’s not on Fragrantica. Performance is meh, but better than Tag Him.
your thoughts on Perry Ellis/Perry Ellis pour homme as a bdc clone?
Armaf Tag Him is an excellent perfume and an exact clone of Bleu de chanel. I love this perfume. It's long lasting. The longevity, projection are excellent and beyond comparison. Great great great perfume.

I own BDC EDT and this and I’ve gotten decent compliments with both. I think this stands on its own as a great scent that, if thought of as a $17 ginger woody scent, is a 7-7.5 for me. Not bad.

Chanel fragrances smell like classy fragrances. Armaf is the iphonies of fragrances. I get it that not everyone has money but one can easily get a decant of a decent fragrance like BDC and smell better for the exact same price.

Honestly getting on the negative side for the first 10 minuts is a bid biased^^ imho it realy smells like BDC on my skinn and that for 17€ how cares about the first 10 minuts^^ that is one clone which prevent me from buying the original and that is something which i dont say about alot of clones

At first puff, it smells synthetic and strange. You have to wait 15-30 minutes with it and then it will unfold, it will become a brutal scent cloud! Very durable!

The pepper is WAY too strong to me. It does have a light similarity to Bleu but that’s it. I think it’s more for teens and people who don’t really care about quality.
Smells horrible too... for me... It does smell like BDC after 5 mins. But the drydown not really... I don't think it's nice.

I also hear that the dry down on Off bug repellent is truly elegant and has great projection and longevity...bahaha. yeah I think I'll pass on that one. I had to pass on Bleu de Chanel too when I could get Versace Dylan blue for half the price and smells just as good to me or better. Another one that's supposed to be similar is armaf Hunter intense... smells similar after it dries down, but leans a little closer to Krylon spray paint LOL. Great reviews man I love them!

These kind of perfumes are not made for western market, but third world country and there they do just that,75 $$ is huge amount in poor country thk armaf.
I would just spend a couple more dollars and opt for BDC. I don't see the point of getting a clone of a designer fragrance unless the clone is far better

Yes bbb might be a vulgar at times.. But doesn't disappoint.. Superb lighting, sound etc... Plus info like drydown after mins and hrs and he's funny as hell

Tag-Him pour homme by Armaf is NOT a clone of Chanel's Bleu de Chanel. It is not even very similar, believe me. I have tested hundreds of fragrances, and there is NO comparison here !
