Chris, I love the floating head unit. Its positioning is excellent. I came across head units in some cars that are utterly useless due to reflection from the sun's glare. It also allows my daughter to hook it up to waze. Extremely useful for new drivers like her. Heck, even my F30 doesn't have this feature.

There’s one flaw the Bezza has that no one seems to highlight: its terrible ride, NVH and poor seats (front and rear). The number of times I’ve been shaken and stirred at the back of a Grab bezza, on bad KL roads has cemented my opinion of it being an unrefined and unfinished, cheap feeling but premium priced car (the new saga is 10k cheaper). Yes if I were operating it as a grab vehicle, I’d choose the Bezza too, but as a passenger, Saga offers a more pleasant trip. I’ve got a bad back, so I’m rather picky about seats and the ride of a car, and in my experience Proton seats always have better thigh support (with the exception of the saga) and all of them have better lumbar support than Perodua seats.
Yes, the saga is far more comfortable than the Bezza. I drove bezza since 2017 when I hopped into a Grab car that is a Saga and I was like "wow". Great NVH, superb spring on the back even with three passengers riding. And the sound and Air conditioner system is just icing on the cake.
Saga have better bolstering for physically challenged person..like me,im above 80kg feels Saga is more comfortable than even Persona for shortrides..longrides Saga hands down win ovet Bezza when i rent in KK,Panborneo roads are damn sakit belakang wei and Saga even managed to absorb bumps better
I had the CVT one, bought the top of the line variant. In terms of safety, I’m glad that it has ESC and ABS. I’ve encountered a situation where these safety features really helped me avoid a crash. Really happy with it! And if I have one thing to complaint about this car is lack of air vents for your foot. Other than that is super value for money. 👍🏻
When you're talking about the "floating display" being an afterthought, I absolutely agree. It just feels unnecessary. For the previous iteration, the Saga doesn't have a touchscreen on any of the trim levels, while the Bezza has it. The position of the radio is low into the dash anyway so it isn't really suitable for a touchscreen. They could've moved the radio placement to the upper part of the dash, which they already did right now, and maybe fitted a 2 din touchscreen without doing that floating display. (The base model with the non touchscreen, but all touch radio controls is even worse IMO. But even the base model Iriz and Persona has it too, albeit in a standard 2 din standard.) Other than that, the exterior of the Saga looks pretty good. It does look pretty nice. Some of the design changes here makes the car set itself apart over its previous iteration. Oh yeah, no more CVT. I only wish the Iriz gets the 4 speed AT too...
Not really. For it's price range, it adds more value to the car and makes it more modern and appealing to new potential customers than before. It might be small, but it can make a customer who might want a Bezza to reconsider and buy a Saga instead.

I am so proud of Proton for putting lots of effort into the Saga. The Saga is definitely a special car as it was Proton's first car back in the days and it has served many people. I do hope that the future Saga will be even better and I look forward to Proton's development especially in the global market. I also hope that more Malaysians will change the perception of Proton cars and support them in their growth. ❤️🇲🇾

thanks for telling the truth of saga, almost all of my friends are against Proton due to hear-say and they thought buying a Proton is kindna like a shame to them. How sad to hear that! But I am very happy with my Saga VVT 2016. Glad that I am not a blind sheep and actually gave a chance to Proton. Sincerely saying, I don't enjoy sitting in my friends' Bezza, it is so uncomfortable even on the shotgun seat. Especially when they are cornering and accelerating, you can never feel as good as sitting in a Proton Saga VVT.

Hi Chris Happy new year...7 days ol already, still happy anyway🤭 i have a close friend that owns the predecessor saga to this one...the BLM. He works in insurance and runs ALOT, the abbreviation PPG literally applies to his car....never serviced at proton...just basic oil changes....but 10-11 years on, and 350k km...the car still runs perfectly..despite sounding like a bus la🤭 ive put my faith in proton...personally owned a waja and inspira....no complaints, pleasure to drive...its just comforting to know, they have finally got rid off their CVT for a torque converter. Proton > perodua anytime🤐🤐

My family own a saga 89, 2010 blm, 3 flx(I use one of this and it's manual) and an iriz. Also own Myvi , Aruz , toyota rush and a jazz. I say there are pro and con's. But I do prefer proton cause for me handling and comfortable is priority. Nonetheless, I support our local brands. 😁
This generation saga is a really really good car. Rented one for 2 months just before the roll out of the recent facelift. NVH levels are so good will put many more expensive Brand’s to shame, not just the Japanese even the German makers. Interior quality has plenty room for improvement, but it’s on the way up thankfully. This saga is simply awesome for the price you pay. Perodua is no where near the NVH, comfort or ride and handling. Proton Geely partnership is ringing big changes and Proton and its owners can stall tall now!
for the price of a full spec saga , can only get a mid range bezza . For handling i choose saga , for looks i choose saga , for safety systems the bezza wins , for design saga is a win in my opinion . But perodua is giving led across the range , waiting for proton to include that . i sat in a new saga grab , i am surprised the noise cancellation is very very good . My 2011 saga fl 1.6 still handles very well around the corners .
My only issue with this Saga is that the steering column tilt adjustment doesn't go high enough... And/or the driver seats don't go low enough. In my seating position, the steering cuts out the top portion of the meters. Ergonomic issue, deal breaker. To be fair, the Bezza has the same ergonomic issue as well as worse NVH.

Recently I bought the new persona mt 2019. Great car, love the handling and chassis. However I’m a heavy footed person, tend to hang gears and the cam pro engine is not very efficient on petrol 😅😅😅 highway I can get 23km/l at 90km/h-100km/h, city I get 10km/l but definitely a comfortable car for the family and great car for Genting runs too 😂😂 Most probably going to change the stock tires and add some stage 1 strut bars.
Agree. I go for Saga too. It is because of the overall package including the performance and handling of Proton. I mean if you wanna do outstation trips, Saga seems more better in the long haul drive stability (on my own judgement). Bezza suit for town driving but it will be tiring on long haul. So Saga could stretch the dollar you paid (better perform and balance in almost every aspect).

I have to agree with you Chris Even though Saga weight more than Bezza/Myvi but the ride and handling,The comfort is way better than Perodua but again Perodua got the Japanese edge and lightweight chassis which is good for city driving but again if you have small family this is the great small balik kampung car
Hi good morning Chriss, true, this SAGA is superb in handling, u feel the suspension is solid. i felt so much confident when accelerate SAGA on all stock. i cant imagine this new SAGA with a new set of tire, say.. Michelin PS3. I love Michelin PS3 though. Nevertheless, it has some flaws, headunit & aircond ventilations doesnt give more options
Great review Chris. I felt personally that Proton is close to perfecting the formula for entry car segment with this new Saga. If you compare the price of the new premium Bezza 2020 with the premium Saga is about RM10k! Yikes! Personally I wouldn’t mind if Proton charges a little more to close the gap between itself and Perodua by improving their interior and overall cabin experience, as you said. The current pricing for the premium version is very attractive, and say if they would upgrade certain materials where it matters - like plushier or leather seats, or slightly more premium look materials on the top half of the doors or dashboard, leather wrapped steering wheels, better tyres and charge maybe 2 or 3k more from the current offering - I’m sold! That would be fantastic. Maybe they’ll consider this and come up with a commemorative version of sorts for 2020 😅

Yes, I did see some of those comments that were floating around social media too. Well, the cars we test are all brand new, so it's impossible to say what it's gonna be like in a year really. Ownership experience is something we can't comment on unless we actually buy the car 😊

Just trying to say I am disappointed because Proton produce a good car and still old issue like QC and after sales service is still very bad. Your friend Khong persona had thermostat problem in just one year time what a joke at first I thought he is the only few one but when I dig deeper there are many more similar cases reported in forums.The rattling noise don't stop at saga it is apparent in persona and iriz too. 2016 persona has gearbox bearing issues will create knocking sound...sad lah I hope Geely will not only look at the perceived quality to improve it but also the mechanical part in the future and also very important typical tepi jalan warung service
I changed the hose sealer to the hose pipe sealer, the one we use to seal our hose at the lawn but just bigger and tight adjustable. For the rattling, I d.i.y-ed it by wrapping the arm area with foam cushion. Then,safe and sound. Proven and tested at Pan Borneo under construction road.
For the money, Geely have given a steroid like jab in the arm to the Proton Saga. Especially the 4 speed Hyundai sourced gearbox and that floating touch screen infotainment set. No other car in the local market offer that kind of balance in terms of handling, performance and styling. As usual, one design doesn't fits all, so too bad that it's not to your taste. Cheers!

But u see that's me, I hate CVTs, but you might be fine with them, and rightly so, because there's nothing wrong with them technically, thus it's all about personal preference, nothing else. And that's why asking me (or anyone for that matter) which car you should buy is pointless. Buy what YOU like most, not what others think you should like bro. This is my most honest opinion on the matter, and something I've propagated and advised for many many years 😊🙏🏽👍🏾

Oh yeah, true i dont like my floating screen either, premium and standard spec the same, i prefer a normal nonfloating audio player and simple, but what can i do, maybe just wait until the warranty is expired then i would do something about it 😅
Also for once, good to hear an opinion of Saga vs Bezza without dismissing the Bezza as the "bad" car. (It's not) The Bezza is getting updated soon and reactions are...to put it politely, not nice. I'd still say both the Saga and Bezza does cater to different types of people.

I'm looking at the manual version but nobody ever talk/review about that. or ya, one problem with proton is the tiny tiny sound after some period of time even SC can't solve it. That's why people still no faith in the company yet. I wonder this minor minor issue already improved? I'm very sensitive to sound.
This car is a definite improvement over the previous model for sure, but only time will tell if the small sounds creep in. This demo unit wasn't brand new, in fact it's already overdue for a change of tyres, but still no annoying sounds 😀

@@ChrisWeevilGarage B10 biodiesel seems to be controversial at the moment due to concerns with oil filter (correct me if I don't get this right) getting blocked by impurities of the palm oil, which means even pickup trucks might see negative effects on their engines' response and maintenance intervals. Turbodiesel cars can avoid the problem by opting for Euro 5 diesel, but the low-sulphur diesel's availability is still limited in rural areas of Malaysia.
I like the headunit and give it a pass, because more expensive Mercedes cars do the same thing, having a screen that looks like it is an afterthought. As for the bland insert, I can understand why it's black on black. My old Saga FLX after a while would have visible parts where the paint wears off, especially if it's a frequently touched area. Heck, even my Honda City had the same problems!
I dislike those in the Merc too. Just cos a more expensive car has it, doesn't make it right!! Hahaha!! Anyone who uses painted parts on frequently touched panels should be shot. Panels can be colour moulded these days 😀
Chris your videos are very interesting but I suggest you to upgrade your camera equipment because your videos were out of focus most of the time so if you are willing to invest smartly just get a better camera I bet you will not regret buying it.👌
Definitely Silverstone brand, those tyre can't throw water properly, the tyre loose grips when you do some fun driving (genting touge), and its quite noisy
Silverstone kruizer. I kid you not, even with 94hp, you could light up those wheels IN THE DRY. Traction control works overtime with those shitty rubbers, which was why Bobby Ang said don’t sell them on to someone else (and kill them), use them to plant flowers 😂
The only saga 2020 lack is the Quality Control. Ive seen some owner having a rattling , knocking noise coming from the engine and gearbox . Even there’s some owner having Engine Changed! In my place ive seen 3-4 saga towed to Service centre. I love proton since Wira, Iswara and saga aeroback and i really missed that Mitsubishi touch hmmm

Hmmm...I don’t think the 4at is better than the CVT but I guess to each their own. Totally agree though with that afterthought “Intelligence” where even the view angle isn’t good but I guess they would have to ‘create’ volume to bring the costs down similar to that new meter. Speaking of meter, I have always had a problem with the view of the meter. Being 183cm the correct driving position, the upper part of the steering will always be blocking the view of the meter! But yeah... Proton is still that brand that yeah, they progressed but they’re still not there yet. When will they be?
Chris Wee indeed it was one of the if not the worst auto gb ever introduced to the market but subsequent ‘updates’ have made it better. Problem is, changing your driving pattern/style.

Yup totally agree with you chris, the new saga or saga blm have better interior quality compared to axia and bezza, they feel so empty like made out of plastic baldi also in term of comfort I prefer the saga aswell, the seat bolster hold my body so well and it makes 2 hour driving no problem at all, can sleep in car too lol

As i know, they did improve braking system with larger disc brake and calipers, besides the 4at Tofque converter GB, NVH, and the Infotainment which somehow i have to agree thensound system way better than a civic. And I agree with Chris bout the interior looks, and why the car maker have to put 'all Black' for Malaysian Spec?? Who decides that for us? We didn't ask for a rainbow colour but why with all dark and dull and there's no other options for us.

My first car that i brought brand new is 2015 Saga Flx SV MT and i use it until now. The current mileage 35k km since the first day i buy. Actually the saga is my second car. My first car that i brought is 2007 Second hand Myvi SXI Premium MT. Yes i admit myvi is more fuel economy but the cargo space so small. So i trade in the myvi with saga.
My personel view as owner of saga flx sv mt, this car can achieve fuel economy 18-20 km per-litre in one full tank in highway (550km per tank). If in town as daily use (320-350km per tank). And i still service in proton sc until today.
To me Proton is lack of design wise (especially Proton Iriz) and build quality, that's why the price is affordable, the Perodua is lack on their car ride and handling comfort and they been putting so much technology in their cars, thats why the car is a little pricey. Anyway It's just my point of view yeah..don't have to agree with me.
Frankly, Bezza really is a bad car haha. Dont need to test drive, just sit in both and right away you'll know that Saga is way better. But if fc is your concern than just go for Bezza laahh

There’s one flaw the Bezza has that no one seems to highlight: its terrible ride, NVH and poor seats (front and rear). The number of times I’ve been shaken and stirred at the back of a Grab bezza, on bad KL roads has cemented my opinion of it being an unrefined and unfinished, cheap feeling but premium priced car (the new saga is 10k cheaper). Yes if I were operating it as a grab vehicle, I’d choose the Bezza too, but as a passenger, Saga offers a more pleasant trip.
I’ve got a bad back, so I’m rather picky about seats and the ride of a car, and in my experience Proton seats always have better thigh support (with the exception of the saga) and all of them have better lumbar support than Perodua seats.

Yes, the saga is far more comfortable than the Bezza. I drove bezza since 2017 when I hopped into a Grab car that is a Saga and I was like "wow". Great NVH, superb spring on the back even with three passengers riding. And the sound and Air conditioner system is just icing on the cake.

Saga have better bolstering for physically challenged person..like me,im above 80kg feels Saga is more comfortable than even Persona for shortrides..longrides Saga hands down win ovet Bezza when i rent in KK,Panborneo roads are damn sakit belakang wei and Saga even managed to absorb bumps better

I had the CVT one, bought the top of the line variant. In terms of safety, I’m glad that it has ESC and ABS. I’ve encountered a situation where these safety features really helped me avoid a crash. Really happy with it!
And if I have one thing to complaint about this car is lack of air vents for your foot. Other than that is super value for money. 👍🏻

When you're talking about the "floating display" being an afterthought, I absolutely agree. It just feels unnecessary.
For the previous iteration, the Saga doesn't have a touchscreen on any of the trim levels, while the Bezza has it. The position of the radio is low into the dash anyway so it isn't really suitable for a touchscreen. They could've moved the radio placement to the upper part of the dash, which they already did right now, and maybe fitted a 2 din touchscreen without doing that floating display. (The base model with the non touchscreen, but all touch radio controls is even worse IMO. But even the base model Iriz and Persona has it too, albeit in a standard 2 din standard.)
Other than that, the exterior of the Saga looks pretty good. It does look pretty nice. Some of the design changes here makes the car set itself apart over its previous iteration.
Oh yeah, no more CVT. I only wish the Iriz gets the 4 speed AT too...

Not really. For it's price range, it adds more value to the car and makes it more modern and appealing to new potential customers than before. It might be small, but it can make a customer who might want a Bezza to reconsider and buy a Saga instead.

I am so proud of Proton for putting lots of effort into the Saga. The Saga is definitely a special car as it was Proton's first car back in the days and it has served many people. I do hope that the future Saga will be even better and I look forward to Proton's development especially in the global market. thanks for telling the truth of saga, almost all of my friends are against Proton due to hear-say and they thought buying a Proton is kindna like a shame to them. How sad to hear that! But I am very happy with my Saga VVT 2016. Glad that I am not a blind sheep and actually gave a chance to Proton. Sincerely saying, I don't enjoy sitting in my friends' Bezza, it is so uncomfortable even on the shotgun seat. Especially when they are cornering and accelerating, you can never feel as good as sitting in a Proton Saga VVT.

Happy new year...7 days ol already, still happy anyway🤭 i have a close friend that owns the predecessor saga to this one...the BLM. He works in insurance and runs ALOT, the abbreviation PPG literally applies to his car....never serviced at proton...just basic oil changes....but 10-11 years on, and 350k km...the car still runs perfectly..despite sounding like a bus la🤭 ive put my faith in proton...personally owned a waja and inspira....no complaints, pleasure to drive...its just comforting to know, they have finally got rid off their CVT for a torque converter. Proton > perodua anytime🤐🤐

My family own a saga 89, 2010 blm, 3 flx(I use one of this and it's manual) and an iriz. Also own Myvi , Aruz , toyota rush and a jazz. I say there are pro and con's. But I do prefer proton cause for me handling and comfortable is priority. Nonetheless, I support our local brands. 😁

This generation saga is a really really good car. Rented one for 2 months just before the roll out of the recent facelift. NVH levels are so good will put many more expensive Brand’s to shame, not just the Japanese even the German makers. Interior quality has plenty room for improvement, but it’s on the way up thankfully. This saga is simply awesome for the price you pay. Perodua is no where near the NVH, comfort or ride and handling. Proton Geely partnership is ringing big changes and Proton and its owners can stall tall now!

for the price of a full spec saga , can only get a mid range bezza . For handling i choose saga , for looks i choose saga , for safety systems the bezza wins , for design saga is a win in my opinion . But perodua is giving led across the range , waiting for proton to include that . i sat in a new saga grab , i am surprised the noise cancellation is very very good . My 2011 saga fl 1.6 still handles very well around the corners .
My only issue with this Saga is that the steering column tilt adjustment doesn't go high enough... And/or the driver seats don't go low enough. In my seating position, the steering cuts out the top portion of the meters.
Ergonomic issue, deal breaker. To be fair, the Bezza has the same ergonomic issue as well as worse NVH.
Good points, I found I had to lower the steering and set the seat to its lowest setting, it's was alright then 👍🏾🙂

Recently I bought the new persona mt 2019. Great car, love the handling and chassis. However I’m a heavy footed person, tend to hang gears and the cam pro engine is not very efficient on petrol 😅😅😅 highway I can get 23km/l at 90km/h-100km/h, city I get 10km/l but definitely a comfortable car for the family and great car for Genting runs too 😂😂 Most probably going to change the stock tires and add some stage 1 strut bars.
Please do swap out the stock tyres soon!! Especially since u bought a manual variant, well done!!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😀

Agree. I go for Saga too. It is because of the overall package including the performance and handling of Proton. I mean if you wanna do outstation trips, Saga seems more better in the long haul drive stability (on my own judgement). Bezza suit for town driving but it will be tiring on long haul. So Saga could stretch the dollar you paid (better perform and balance in almost every aspect).

I have to agree with you Chris Even though Saga weight more than Bezza/Myvi but the ride and handling,The comfort is way better than Perodua but again Perodua got the Japanese edge and lightweight chassis which is good for city driving but again if you have small family this is the great small balik kampung car

true, this SAGA is superb in handling, u feel the suspension is solid. i felt so much confident when accelerate SAGA on all stock. i cant imagine this new SAGA with a new set of tire, say.. Michelin PS3. I love Michelin PS3 though. Nevertheless, it has some flaws, headunit & aircond ventilations doesnt give more options

Great review Chris. I felt personally that Proton is close to perfecting the formula for entry car segment with this new Saga. If you compare the price of the new premium Bezza 2020 with the premium Saga is about RM10k! Yikes! Personally I wouldn’t mind if Proton charges a little more to close the gap between itself and Perodua by improving their interior and overall cabin experience, as you said. The current pricing for the premium version is very attractive, and say if they would upgrade certain materials where it matters - like plushier or leather seats, or slightly more premium look materials on the top half of the doors or dashboard, leather wrapped steering wheels, better tyres and charge maybe 2 or 3k more from the current offering - I’m sold! That would be fantastic. Maybe they’ll consider this and come up with a commemorative version of sorts for 2020 😅

Yes, I did see some of those comments that were floating around social media too. Well, the cars we test are all brand new, so it's impossible to say what it's gonna be like in a year really. Ownership experience is something we can't comment on unless we actually buy the car 😊

Just trying to say I am disappointed because Proton produce a good car and still old issue like QC and after sales service is still very bad. Your friend Khong persona had thermostat problem in just one year time what a joke at first I thought he is the only few one but when I dig deeper there are many more similar cases reported in forums.The rattling noise don't stop at saga it is apparent in persona and iriz too. 2016 persona has gearbox bearing issues will create knocking sound...sad lah I hope Geely will not only look at the perceived quality to improve it but also the mechanical part in the future and also very important typical tepi jalan warung service
I changed the hose sealer to the hose pipe sealer, the one we use to seal our hose at the lawn but just bigger and tight adjustable. For the rattling, I d.i.y-ed it by wrapping the arm area with foam cushion. Then,safe and sound. Proven and tested at Pan Borneo under construction road.

For the money, Geely have given a steroid like jab in the arm to the Proton Saga. Especially the 4 speed Hyundai sourced gearbox and that floating touch screen infotainment set. No other car in the local market offer that kind of balance in terms of handling, performance and styling. As usual, one design doesn't fits all, so too bad that it's not to your taste. Cheers!

But u see that's me, I hate CVTs, but you might be fine with them, and rightly so, because there's nothing wrong with them technically, thus it's all about personal preference, nothing else. And that's why asking me (or anyone for that matter) which car you should buy is pointless. Buy what YOU like most, not what others think you should like bro. This is my most honest opinion on the matter, and something I've propagated and advised for many many years 😊🙏🏽👍🏾

U could possibly engage a gear down from D, if it's a very steep hill, but I can't recall the gear pattern if it's a 3 below D, or 2.

I'm looking at the manual version but nobody ever talk/review about that. or ya, one problem with proton is the tiny tiny sound after some period of time even SC can't solve it. That's why people still no faith in the company yet. I wonder this minor minor issue already improved? I'm very sensitive to sound.
This car is a definite improvement over the previous model for sure, but only time will tell if the small sounds creep in. This demo unit wasn't brand new, in fact it's already overdue for a change of tyres, but still no annoying sounds 😀

I like the headunit and give it a pass, because more expensive Mercedes cars do the same thing, having a screen that looks like it is an afterthought.
As for the bland insert, I can understand why it's black on black. My old Saga FLX after a while would have visible parts where the paint wears off, especially if it's a frequently touched area. Heck, even my Honda City had the same problems!
I dislike those in the Merc too. Just cos a more expensive car has it, doesn't make it right!! Hahaha!! Anyone who uses painted parts on frequently touched panels should be shot. Panels can be colour moulded these days 😀
the insert thing can be solved by disassembly and a paint can.
Chris your videos are very interesting but I suggest you to upgrade your camera equipment because your videos were out of focus most of the time so if you are willing to invest smartly just get a better camera I bet you will not regret buying it.👌

Definitely Silverstone brand, those tyre can't throw water properly, the tyre loose grips when you do some fun driving (genting touge), and its quite noisy
Silverstone kruizer. I kid you not, even with 94hp, you could light up those wheels IN THE DRY. Traction control works overtime with those shitty rubbers, which was why Bobby Ang said don’t sell them on to someone else (and kill them), use them to plant flowers 😂

The only saga 2020 lack is the Quality Control. Ive seen some owner having a rattling , knocking noise coming from the engine and gearbox . Even there’s some owner having Engine Changed! In my place ive seen 3-4 saga towed to Service centre. I love proton since Wira, Iswara and saga aeroback and i really missed that Mitsubishi touch hmmm

Totally agree though with that afterthought “Intelligence” where even the view angle isn’t good but I guess they would have to ‘create’ volume to bring the costs down similar to that new meter.
Speaking of meter, I have always had a problem with the view of the meter. Being 183cm the correct driving position, the upper part of the steering will always be blocking the view of the meter!
But yeah... Proton is still that brand that yeah, they progressed but they’re still not there yet. When will they be?

Yup totally agree with you chris, the new saga or saga blm have better interior quality compared to axia and bezza, they feel so empty like made out of plastic baldi also in term of comfort I prefer the saga aswell, the seat bolster hold my body so well and it makes 2 hour driving no problem at all, can sleep in car too lol

As i know, they did improve braking system with larger disc brake and calipers, besides the 4at Tofque converter GB, NVH, and the Infotainment which somehow i have to agree thensound system way better than a civic.
And I agree with Chris bout the interior looks, and why the car maker have to put 'all Black' for Malaysian Spec?? Who decides that for us? We didn't ask for a rainbow colour but why with all dark and dull and there's no other options for us.
It's decided by the design department I guess, and yes, the Saga now uses the braking system from the new Persona 👍🏾😀

My first car that i brought brand new is 2015 Saga Flx SV MT and i use it until now. The current mileage 35k km since the first day i buy. Actually the saga is my second car. My first car that i brought is 2007 Second hand Myvi SXI Premium MT. Yes i admit myvi is more fuel economy but the cargo space so small. So i trade in the myvi with saga.
My personel view as owner of saga flx sv mt, this car can achieve fuel economy 18-20 km per-litre in one full tank in highway (550km per tank). If in town as daily use (320-350km per tank). And i still service in proton sc until today.

I'm still wondering why local cars still can't make cars with big wheel base. At least a saga uses 15 inch wheels.
This is just an entry level car, so I guess it shouldn't be too bulky, but there's still a very decent amount of space in it 👍🏾😀
To me Proton is lack of design wise (especially Proton Iriz) and build quality, that's why the price is affordable, the Perodua is lack on their car ride and handling comfort and they been putting so much technology in their cars, thats why the car is a little pricey. Anyway It's just my point of view yeah..don't have to agree with me.
Actually what u said is quite true. The Bezza will appeal to those who want a lot of kit, while Saga will appeal to those who like to drive 👍🏾😀
