  • Dr. Daniel Amen spoke at the Genius Network conference about how Imaging Changes Everything.
Brain SPECT Imaging changed everything in his life, his kids' lives, his love life, and in his clinical practice at The Amen Clinics. Most psychiatrists still diagnose their patients using the same tools as the psychiatrist that diagnosed Abraham Lincoln with depression in 1840. That is: they guess based on observation and symptom clusters. That's not the case at the Amen Clinics.

I love the idea of scanning a girls before you date or marry them. Best advice ever given on relationships.

Hmmm… but did you know the heart has more neurons that the brain? This also determines how someone behaves. If someone has given themself to
Jesus Christ, He then gives a heart so that one is able to become like Him… transformed into His image and likeness.

I'd like to know, what each color signifies (in the brain scans)??

Hello, the color of the surface scan is not an indicator of anything. It's just how the scan comes through to show the surface area of the brain. What we're looking for on the surface scan is areas of low blood flow, which are indicated by "holes" in the scan. Here is more information: www.amenclinics.com/the-science/why-spect/.
