Amazon and MSFT have already been working on secure hybrid cloud for years. IBM will still be playing catch up if they can survive.

The kiss of death for RedHat.

IBM is not known for software maintenance, this acquisition is for cloud computing. The majority of redhat's money comes from DoD, who will now make a hard right turn to Oracle Linux if patching starts to lag. Have seen this scenario play out time and time again with IBM.

@J Norfleet you’ve seen hybrid cloud computing occur at IBM over and over again? You must be a time traveler.
